RHODDIR DRWY HYN RYBUDD fod Cyngor Gwynedd yn bwriadu dim llai na saith niwrnod ar ôl dyddiad y rhybudd hwn wneud Gorchymyn fydd yn gwahardd unrhyw berson rhag peri i unrhyw gerbyd fynd mewn unrhyw gyfeiriad ar hyd y darn hwnnw o’r Ffordd o gylchfan Tyn Lôn i Ffordd Penrhos, Penrhosgarnedd, Bangor yn ei gyfanrwydd.

Mae angen y Gorchymyn ar sail iechyd a diogelwch i’r cyhoedd yn ystod gwaith ar y ffordd.

Y ffordd arall yw teithio mewn cyfeiriad de orllewinol ar Ffordd Penrhos a throi i’r chwith yn y gyffordd gyda’r A487. Teithio ar y ffordd hon mewn cyfeiriad de orllewinol yna cymryd y 4ydd allanfa yng nghylchfan Y Faenol i deithio mewn cyfeiriad gogledd ddwyreiniol ar yr A487. Yng nghylchfan Parc Menai, cymryd y 3ydd allanfa i deithio mewn cyfeiriad gogledd ddwyrieniol hyd at y caead ac i’r gwrthwyneb ar gyfer cerbydau sydd yn teithio i’r cyfeiriad arall. Bydd mynediad ar gael i drigolion.

Daw’r Gorchymyn i rym ar y 1af o Fedi 2025 a bydd yn parhau mewn grym am gyfnod na fydd hwy na 6 mis neu hyd nes y cwblheir y gwaith y bwriedir ei wneud ar y ffordd, pa un bynnag fyddo gyntaf. Ar hyn o bryd disgwylir y gellir cwblhau’r gwaith o fewn tua 91 diwrnod.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14(1) AS AMENDED BY THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991

THE GWYNEDD COUNCIL
(ROAD FROM THE TYN LÔN ROUNDABOUT TO PENRHOS ROAD, PENRHOSGARNEDD, BANGOR) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Gwynedd Council intend not less than seven days from the date hereof to make an Order, the effect of which will be to prohibit any person from causing any vehicle to proceed in either direction along that length of Road from the Tyn Lôn roundabout to Penrhos Road, Penrhosgarnedd, Bangor in its entirety.

The Order is necessary on health and safety grounds to the public during road works.
The alternative route is to travel south westerly on Penrhos Road then turn left at the junction with the A487. Travel on this road in a south westerly direction then take the 4th exit at the Vaynol roundabout to travel north easterly on the A487. At the Parc Menai roundabout, take the 3rd exit to travel north easterly up to the closure and vice versa for vehicles travelling in the opposite direction. Access will be maintained for residents.
The Order comes into effect on the 1st of September, 2025 and will continue in force for a period not exceeding 6 months or until the work which it is proposed to carry out on the road is completed, whichever is the earlier. At this stage it is anticipated that the work will be completed within approximately 91 days.
