Ar 17 Gorffennaf 2025 cadarnhaodd Cyngor Sir Dinas a Sir Caerdydd y Gorchymyn uchod a wnaed dan adran 3 Deddf Llwybrau Beicio 1984 (“Deddf 1984”).

Effaith y Gorchymyn fel y’i cadarnheir fyddtrosi’r llwybr troed a ddisgrifir yn Rhan 1 o’r Atodlen yn llwybr beicio fel y disgrifir yn Rhan 2 .

Mae copi o’r Gorchymyn a map y Gorchymyn ar gael drwy anfon cais ebost at GDMC@caerdydd.gov.uk. Mae copïau o’r Gorchymyn a’r cynllun hefyd ar gael ar gais drwy ysgrifennu at y cyfeiriad isod. Gellir gweld copi o’r Gorchymyn a’r cynllun o ddydd Llun i ddydd Sadwrn (heblaw gwyliau Banc) yn Llyfrgell Ganolog Caerdydd, Yr Ais, Caerdydd CF10 1FL yn ystod oriau swyddfa arferol. Mae modd cael copi o’r Gorchymyn a’r cynllun yn y llyfrgell drwy wneud cais.

Daw’r Gorchymyn i rym ar 19 Awst 2025 , ond os bydd person yn teimlo ei fod wedi’i dramgwyddo gan y gorchymyn ac yn amau ei ddilysrwydd, neu unrhyw ddarpariaethau sydd wedi’u cynnwys ynddo, ar y sail nad yw o fewn pwerau Deddf 1984 fel y’i diwygiwyd, neu ar y sail na chydymffurfiwyd ag unrhyw un o ofynion y Ddeddf, fel y’i diwygiwyd, neu unrhyw reoliad a wnaed dan Ddeddf 1984 mewn cysylltiad â’r Gorchymyn, gall, dan isadran 4 fel y cymhwysir dan a.6 Deddf 1984 o fewn 6 wythnos o ddyddiad yr hysbysiad hwn, wneud cais i’r Uchel Lys.

Rhan 1 - Disgrifiad o’r Llwybr Troed i’w drosi
Y llwybr troed sy’n dechrau yn Albert Street (Pwynt A; ST167764) ac yn mynd tua’r de gan derfynu yn Picton Place (Pwynt B; ST168764). Hyd y llwybr i’w addasu = 45 metr Lled y llwybr = 5 metr

Rhan 2 - Disgrifiad o’r Llwybr Beicio wedi’i Drosi
Y darn o’r llwybr cerdded a beicio yn Albert Street sy’n ymestyn o Albert Street (Pwynt A; ST167764) i ymuno â’r lôn gerbydau yn Picton Place (Pwynt B; ST168764).

Hyd y llwybr beiciau = 45 metr Lled y llwybr beiciau = 5 metr

NOTICE OF CONFIRMATION OF CYCLE TRACK ORDER
s.3 (1) CYCLE TRACKS ACT 1984 THE COUNTY COUNCIL OF THE CITY AND COUNTY OF CARDIFF (ALBERT STREET, CARDIFF)
CYCLE TRACKS CONVERSION ORDER 2025

On the 17th July 2025 the County Council of the City and County of Cardiff confirmed the above Order made under section 3 of the Cycle Tracks Act 1984 (“the 1984 Act”).

The effect of the Order as confirmed to convert the footpath described in Part 1 of the Schedule to a cycle track as described in Part 2.

A copy of the Order and the Order map are available by sending an email request to PSPO@cardiff.gov.uk . Copies of the Order and plan are also available on request by writing to the address below. A copy of the Order and plan may be seen Monday to Saturday (except Bank holidays) at Cardiff Central Library, The Hayes, Cardiff CF10 1FL during normal office hours. A copy of the Order and plan may be provided on request from the library.

The Order comes into force on 19th August 2025 but if a person is aggrieved by the order wants to question its validity, or that of any provisions contained in it, on the ground that it is not within the powers of the 1984 Act as amended, or on the ground that any requirement of the Act, as amended, or any regulation made under the 1984 Act has not been complied with in relation to the Order, he or she, may under regulations made under subsection 4 as applied by s.6 of the 1984 Act, within 6 weeks from the date of this notice make an application to the High Court

SCHEDULE
Part 1 - Description of Footpath to be Converted
The footpath commencing at Albert Street (Point A; ST167764) and heading South to terminate at Picton Place (Point B; ST168764). Length of path to be converted = 45 metres Width of path = 5 metres

Part 2 - Description of Cycle Track Conversion Path
The length of the walking and cycling track situated at Albert Street which extends from Albert Street (Point A; ST167764) to join the carriageway at Picton Place (Point B; ST168764).

Length of cycle track = 45 metres Width of cycle track = 5 metres
