CYNGOR BWRDEISTREF SIROL PEN-Y-BONT AR OGWR (HEOL Y GARN, MAESTEG) GORCHYMYN TRAFFIG DROS DRO 2025 RHODDIR RHYBUDD DRWY HYN fod y Cyngor fel yr Awdurdod Prifyrdd dros Maesteg gan arfer ei bwerau dan Adran 14(1) o Ddeddf Rheoleiddio Trafg Ffyrdd 1984 (fel y’i diwygiwyd) yn bwriadu o fewn dim llai na 7 diwrnod o ddyddiad yr Hysbysiad hwn gwneud Gorchymyn fydd yn cyfwyno dros dro y cyfyngiad a eglurir yn yr atodlen isod. Mae’r Gorchymyn yn angenrheidiol oherwydd nad yw’r gerbytfordd yn ddigon llydan i ganiatáu mynediad i gerbydau yn ystod y gwaith o ailwynebu’r brifordd. Daw y Gorchymyn i rym ar 05/08/2025 a bydd yn parhau mewn grym am gyfnod o 18 mis ar y mwyaf neu tan y cyfryw amser ag y bydd y gwaith wedi cael ei gwblhau, p’un bynnag fydd y cyntaf. Disgwylir y caif y gwaith a gynlluniwyd ei gyfawni yn ddyddiol rhwng 08:00a.m. a 17:00p.m. o 05/08/2025 hyd 13/08/2025, neu tan y cyfryw amser ag y bydd y gwaith wedi cael ei gwblhau hyd at gyfnod o 18 mis ar y mwyaf. 

Atodlen - Ni chaif unrhyw berson beri i gerbyd symud ymlaen ar hyd Heol y Garn, Maesteg, o’i chyfordd â Stryd Bethania hyd at ei chyfordd â Stryd yr Orsaf, pellter o oddeutu 290 metr. Y llwybr amgen i gerbydau yw Stryd Bethania, Stryd Commercial, Heol Castell Nedd, Brynmawr Place, Heol St Michael’s, Stryd yr Orsaf ac i’r gwrthwyneb. Darperir mynediad drwy’r cyfyngiad i’r gwasanaethau brys. Cedwir mynediad i gerddwyr. Ni fydd y cyfyngiadau’n weithredol, fodd bynnag, ond ar y cyfryw amser ac i’r cyfryw raddau ag y dangosir o bryd i’w gilydd gan arwyddion trafg a ragnodir gan Reoliadau a Chyfarwyddiadau Cyfredinol Arwyddion Trafg 2016. BRIDGEND COUNTY BOROUGH COUNCIL
(GARN ROAD, MAESTEG) TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ORDER 2025 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council as the Highway Authority for Maesteg in exercise of its powers under Secton 14(1) of the Road Trafc Regulaton Act 1984 (as amended) intends in not less than 7 days from the date of this Notce to make an Order which will temporarily introduce the restricton set out in the schedule below. The Order is necessary due to there being insufcient width of the carriageway to maintain vehicular access during the resurfacing of the highway. The Order will come into force on the 05/08/2025 and will contnue in force for a maximum period of 18 months or untl such tme as the works are completed, whichever is the sooner. It is antcipated the planned works will be undertaken daily between the hours of 08:00am and 17:00pm from 05/08/2025 to 13/08/2025, or untl such tme as the works are completed up to a maximum of 18 months. 

Schedule - No person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along Garn Road, Maesteg, from its juncton with Bethania Street to its juncton with Staton Street, a distance of approximately 290 meters. The alternatve route for vehicles is via, Bethania Street, Commercial Street, Neath Road, Brynmawr Place, St. Michaels Road, Staton Street and vice versa. Access will be provided through the restricton for emergency services. Access will be maintained for pedestrians. The restrictons shall however only apply at such tme and to such extent as shall from tme to tme be indicated by trafc signs prescribed by The Trafc Signs Regulatons and General Directons 2016.
