DYMA HYSBYSIAD bod Cyngor Bwrdeistref Sirol Rhondda Cynon Taf yn bwriadu gwneud Gorchymyn, ar ôl o leiaf 7 diwrnod o ddyddiad yr Hysbysiad yma, o dan Adran 14 Deddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984, fel y’i diwygiwyd gan Ddeddf Traffig Ffyrdd (Cyfyngiadau Dros Dro) 1991, a fydd yn para deunaw mis ar y mwyaf.

Mae angen cau’r ffordd er mwyn hwyluso gwaith gosod cysylltiad newydd i wasanaeth dŵr.

Effaith y Gorchymyn fydd cau’r Ffordd Fynediad Ddienw sy’n arwain at Ganolfan Hamdden Tonyrefail, o bwynt sydd 20 metr i’r de o’i chyffordd â Heol Waunrhydd, i gyfeiriad y de am bellter o 20 metr.

Nodwch: Bydd ffordd ymadael gyfredol y Ganolfan Hamdden ar y gyffordd â Heol Gilfach yn cael ei rheoli â goleuadau traffig 3 ffordd dros dro. 

Bydd yn cael ei defnyddio er mwyn cael mynediad a gadael maes parcio’r Ganolfan Hamdden.

Bydd mynediad ar gael ar gyfer cerddwyr, cerbydau’r gwasanaethau brys, ac ar gyfer cyrraedd eiddo.

Mae disgwyl iddi fod ar gau rhwng y dyddiadau ac amseroedd canlynol neu hyd nes y bydd y gwaith wedi’i gwblhau: -

• Cau yn gyfan gwbl rhwng 15 a 21 Awst 2025

RHONDDA CYNON TAFF COUNTY BOROUGH COUNCIL
(UNNAMED ACCESS ROAD INTO TONYREFAIL LEISURE CENTRE)
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rhondda Cynon Taff County Borough Council, intends, not less than 7 days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, which will have a maximum duration of eighteen months.

The closure is necessary to facilitate works to install a new water service connection.

The effect of the Order will be to close the Unnamed Access Road into the Tonyrefail Leisure Centre, from a point 20 metres south of its junction with Waunrhydd Road, southwards for a distance of 20 metres.

Alternative Route – available via Waunrhydd Road and B4278 Gilfach Road

NB The existing Leisure Centre exit road at the junction with Gilfach Road will be controlled by 3-way temporary traffic lights and will be used to both access and exit the Leisure Centre car park

Access will be maintained for pedestrians, emergency services and to premises.

The closure is expected to be in operation between the following dates and times, or until such time as the works has been completed: -

• Full closures between 15th - 21st August 2025
