TEMPORARY ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 (AS AMENDED)
Notice is hereby given that the City Council has made the following Temporary Road Traffic Order(s):
ORDER NO. MCC144407164: The City of Manchester (Platt Lane, Fallowfield Ward)(Temporary Prohibition of Vehicular Traffic) Order 2025 under s14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Order is to prohibit vehicular traffic on Platt Lane. The alternative routes for traffic will be: (1) Princess Road, Claremont Road, Moss Lane East, Wilmslow Road, Platt Lane (2) Princess Road, Wilbraham Road, Yew Tree Crescent, Wilmslow Road, Platt Lane. The City Council is satisfied that this prohibition is necessary in order to facilitate access to access telecoms antenna. It is expected that the works will be in progress from the 22nd July 2025 to the 23rd July 2025 between the hours of 18:00 and 05:00. The order shall come into operation on the 22nd July 2025 and may remain in force for a maximum period of eighteen months. If all necessary works are completed within a shorter period, the Order shall cease to have effect at the end of that shorter period. Kevin Gillham.
