two way system
North Edward Street, Derry/Londonderry
Notice is hereby given that the Department for Infrastructure for Northern Ireland, in its
capacity as Road Authority and acting in pursuance of its powers under Article 7 (1) and (3)
and paragraph 3 of Schedule 3 to the Road Traffic Regulation (Northern Ireland) Order 1997
has made provision to:-
• temporarily close U1512 North Edward Street from its junction with Patrick Street, to a point
37 metres north of that junction
• temporarily permit vehicles to travel in both directions on U1512 North Edward Street from
its junction with Clarendon Street, to a point 55 metres south of that junction.
These temporary changes to the one-way system will commence on Monday 4 August 2025 for
10 weeks, being satisfied that the change is necessary for road safety reasons.
Traffic signs to indicate the nature of the changes will be erected in due course.

Temporary Speed Limit –
A2 Clooney Road, Ballykelly
Notice is hereby given in compliance with paragraphs 1 and 2 of Schedule 3 of the Road Traffic
Regulation (Northern Ireland) Order 1997 that the Department for Infrastructure, in exercise of
the powers conferred on it by Article 7(1) and (3) of the said Road Traffic Regulation (Northern
Ireland) Order 1997, proposes to impose the following temporary speed limit:
40 miles per hour speed limit, commencing on Friday 1st August 2025 and ending on Saturday
30th August 2025, on the A2 Clooney Road Ballykelly, from a point 500 metres west of its
junction with C519 Carnamuff Road to its junction with U220 Vale Road.
Being satisfied that traffic should be restricted or prohibited because works are being or are
proposed to be executed on or near A2 Clooney Road. Traffic signs warning that the use of the
road is subject to the above speed limit restrictions and to indicate the nature and extent of the
restrictions will be erected on the road in due course.
