Kent County Council, acting in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, makes or intends to make the following Orders.
TONBRIDGE & MALLING AREA
Ash Lane, Stansted, TN15 7EG (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
To allow pole testing works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Ash Lane, Stansted, on or after 28th July 2025 for up to 1 day or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed in the vicinity of Woodlands Garden Centre, between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Ash Lane, Stansted Lane, A20 London Road, Ash Lane and vice versa.
Birling Road, Leybourne Chase, ME19 5HX (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING & SUSPENSION OF ONE-WAY) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
To allow water main works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Birling Road, West Malling, on or after 11th August 2025 for up to 26 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed in the vicinity of the junction with Bannister Way. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The one-way order on Birling Road will be suspended to allow access.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Birling Road, A20 London Road, Hawley Drive, and vice versa.
Coldharbour Lane, Hildenborough, TN11 9LE (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
To allow water pipe repairs to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Coldharbour Lane, Hildenborough, on or after 12th August 2025 for up to 3 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed in the vicinity of The Old Coach House. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
There is no alternative route for any through traffic. Access will be maintained when it is safe to do so.
Fen Pond Road, Ightham, TN15 9JF (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
To allow water pipe works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Fen Pond Road, Ightham, on or after 28th July 2025 for up to 3 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed in the vicinity of Boundary Barn. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Fen Pond Road, Kemsing Road, Borough Green Road, A227 Borough Green Road, A227 Wrotham Road, A227 Western Road, A25 Sevenoaks Road, A25 Borough Green Road, A227 Borough Green Road, Fen Pond Road and vice versa.
High House Lane, Hadlow, TN11 0AR (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
To allow overhead cable works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of High House Lane, Hadlow, on or after 12th August 2025 for up to 1 day or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed in the vicinity of Orchard House, between the hours of 08:00 and 18:00 only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Ashes Lane, A26 Tonbridge Road, A26 High Street, Carpenters Lane and vice versa.
Lucks Hill, West Malling, ME19 6HJ (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
To allow drainage improvement works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Lucks Hill, West Malling, on or after 28th July 2025 for up to 34 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed in the vicinity of More Park Primary School. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Winterfield Lane, A20 London Road, Town Hill, High Street, Swan Street, Lucks Hill and vice versa.
Lunsford Lane, Leybourne, ME20 6UJ (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
To allow drainage works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Lunsford Lane, Leybourne, on or after 11th August 2025 for up to 20 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed in the vicinity of property number 393. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Leybourne Way, Gighill Road, Lunsford Lane and vice versa.
Lunsford Lane, Gighill Road & Kingfisher Road, Larkfield, ME20 6UR (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
To allow carriageway maintenance to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on parts of Lunsford Lane, Gighill Road & Kingfisher Road, Larkfield, on or after 12th August 2025 for up to 11 days or until the works have been completed.
Lunsford Lane will be closed between the junctions of A20 London Road and Gighill Road, between the hours of 19:00 and 05:00 only.
Gighill Road will be closed between the junctions of Lunsford Lane and Chaucer Way, between the hours of 19:00 and 05:00 only.
Kingfisher Road will be closed at the junction with Lunsford Lane, between the hours of 19:00 and 05:00 only.

The alternative route for any Lunsford Lane and Gighill Road through traffic is via Gighill Road, Leybourne Way, New Hythe Lane, A20 London Road and vice versa.
The alternative route for any Kingfisher Road through traffic is via Kingfisher Road, New Hythe Lane, A20 London Road, Lunsford Lane and vice versa.
Mill Street, East Malling, ME19 6BU (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
To allow new gas main connection works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Mill Street, East Malling, on or after 28th July 2025 for up to 15 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed in the vicinity of the junction with Cottenham Close. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via New Road, Chapman Way, Winterfield Lane, Clare Lane, Mill Street and vice versa.
Terrys Lodge Road, Wrotham (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
To allow new water connection works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Terrys Lodge Road, Wrotham, on or after 28th July 2025 for up to 5 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed in the vicinity of Terrys Lodge Farmhouse. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via A20 London Road, Bull Lane, High Street, Kemsing Road, Exedown Road, Terrys Lodge Road and vice versa.
Teston Road, Offham (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
To allow water meter works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Teston Road, Offham, on or after 30th July 2025 for up to 3 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed in the vicinity of property named Little Westover. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Teston Road, B2016 Seven Mile Lane, A26 Tonbridge Road, A228 Malling Road, A228 Ashton Way roundabout, Kings Hill, Teston Road and vice versa.
The Heath, East Malling, ME19 6JF (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
To allow new sewer connection works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of The Heath, East Malling, on or after 11th August 2025 for up to 5 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed in the vicinity of property number 10. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Wateringbury Road, Chapel Street, High Street, New Road, Chapman Way, Winterfield Lane, Clare Lane, Broadwater Road, Pikey Lane, The Heath and vice versa.
