TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1990
The Secretary of State gives notice of an Order made under Section 247 of the above Act entitled “The Stopping up of Highway (North East) (No.12) Order 2025” authorising the stopping up of an eastern part width of an unnamed footpath as leads off Mowbray Road at Sunderland, in the City of Sunderland. This is to enable development as Sunderland City Council under reference 22/00970/FUL.
Copies of the Order may be obtained, free of charge, from the Secretary of State, National Transport Casework Team, Tyneside House, Skinnerburn Road, Newcastle Business Park, Newcastle upon Tyne NE4 7AR or nationalcasework@dft.gov.uk (quoting NATTRAN/ NE/S247/6028). They may also be inspected during normal opening hours at Sunderland City Council, City Hall, Plater Way, Sunderland, SR1 3AA.
Any person who wishes to challenge the validity of the decision to make the Order may apply to the High Court within 6 weeks from 22 July 2025. S Zamenzadeh, Casework Manager
