17077619 & 17079255,17079254, (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

NOTICE is hereby given that Birmingham City Council have made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit

1. any vehicle to enter or proceed in a north north easterly direction along Alcester Street from its junction with Warwick Street to its junction with High Street Deritend.

2. any vehicle to enter or proceed in a south south westerly direction along Alcester Street from its junction with High Street Deritend to its junction with Warwick Street.

3. any vehicle to proceed in a north north easterly direction along Alcester Street from its junction with Bradford Street to its junction with Green Street.

4. any vehicle to proceed in a south south westerly direction along Alcester Street from its junction with Green Street to its junction with Bradford Street.

5. any vehicle proceeding in a north westerly direction along Warwick Street to make a right turn from its junction with Alcester Street.

6. any vehicle proceeding in a south westerly direction along Warwick Street to make a left turn from its junction with Alcester Street.

7. any vehicle to enter or proceed in a north westerly direction along Green Street from its junction with Alcester Street to its junction with Chapel House Street.

8. any vehicle to enter or proceed in a south easterly direction along Green Street from its junction with Chapel House Street to its junction with Alcester Street.

9. any vehicle to proceed in a northerly direction along Chapel House Street from its junction with Stone Yard to its junction with High Street Deritend.

10. any vehicle to enter or proceed in a southerly direction along Chapel House Street from its junction with High Street Deritend to its junction with Stone Yard.

The temporary Order is required to facilitate Installation of Pit Lanes and Hoarding System.

An alternative route for vehicles affected by this Order will be signed on site.

Access to frontages will be maintained as necessary.

These prohibitions shall apply only during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by The Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

The Council is satisfied that the execution of the works will take longer than eighteen months and the Council shall revoke this order as soon as the works are completed.

The Order will come into operation on Friday 18th July 2025.
