What is happening?

ABERDEENSHIRE COUNCIL

U91M – TEMPORARY CLOSURE

“The Aberdeenshire Council (U91M, Heugh head, Strathdon – 21.07.25) (Temporary Closure to Vehicular Traffic) Order, 2025” has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984. The order will operate from 21.07.25 for a period of 4 weeks and will prohibit any vehicle from driving on the U91M, Heugh head, Strathdon from Semeil to junction U92M.

Access will be provided for emergency and vehicles requiring access to properties but may be subject to delay until the road is cleared of construction plant to allow safe passage through the works.

The temporary closure is necessary in the interests of public safety during tree felling works. An alternative route is available via the U91M – A97 Morven; A97 – A944 Deskry; A944 – U91M Heugh Head and vice versa.
