Bellamy Road - Temporary Prohibition of Driving For Water Connection Works
What is happening?
THE NOTTINGHAMSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
(BELLAMY ROAD, MANSFIELD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) ORDER 2025 (M25-060)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Nottinghamshire County Council intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order, under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, in respect of roads at Mansfield in the District of Mansfield
The effects of the Order will be:
1. Vehicles are prohibited from proceeding in the following length of road
a. Bellamy Road, Mansfield - From its junction with Southwell Road West to its junction with Bellamy Road.
2. Vehicles are prohibited from turning right at the following point:
a. Southwell Road West, Mansfield - On to Bellamy Road
3. All existing permanent restrictions will be temporarily suspended as required.
4. The restrictions specified above shall only be in effect when the signs are in place.
IT IS INTENDED that the prohibitions respecting the above road or roads will apply as follows: From 08:00 hours Saturday 26th July until 18:00 hours Sunday 27th July 2025 and From 08:00 hours Saturday 2nd August until 18:00 hours Sunday 3rd August 2025.
AND NOTICE IS HEREBY FURTHER GIVEN that during the period of restriction the alternative route available will be:
Bellamy Road - Adamsway - Southwell Road West - Bellamy Road
The Order will come into force on 26th July 2025 and any prohibition in it shall apply on that day and any subsequent day when necessary to enable works to be carried out. The Order shall continue in force until the works are completed (within a maximum period of 18 months).
The prohibition is required to enable Severn Trent Water to carry out water connection works;
