What is happening?

THE WOLVERHAMPTON CITY COUNCIL
(BHYLLS LANE) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION
OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Wolverhampton
City Council have made an Order under Section
14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as
substituted by the Road Traffic (Temporary
Restrictions) Act 1991, prohibiting vehicles from proceeding on Bhylls Lane in both directions between its junctions with Langley Road and Wychbury Road.
The Order may operate for a maximum period of eighteen months, but it is anticipated that the works will be undertaken from 21 July 2025 until 3 August 2025.

The diversion route is: Trysull Road, Broad Lane, Finchfield Road West, Castlecroft Road and vice versa.
The Order is required to facilitate gas main replacement works by Cadent Gas.
