Woodlea Road - Removal And Introduction Of Pedestrian Crossing

NOTICE OF PROPOSAL
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
LANCASHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
(BROADFIELD DRIVE AND WOODLEA ROAD, LEYLAND, SOUTH RIBBLE BOROUGH) (REMOVAL AND INTRODUCTION OF PEDESTRIAN CROSSING)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Lancashire County Council propose to make the above pedestrian crossing under Section 23 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be to:
1) Remove a zebra crossing in Broadfield Drive, Leyland, from a point 2 metres south of its junction with the centreline of West Paddock for a distance of 42 metres in a northerly direction.
2) Introduce a puffin crossing in Woodlea Road, and extending into Broadfield Drive, Leyland, from a point 11 metres south of its junction with the centreline of West Paddock for a distance of 54.5 metres in a northerly direction.
A copy of the relevant notice and plan indicating the location of the crossing may be inspected during normal office hours at the offices of the South Ribble Borough Council, Civic Centre, West Paddock, Leyland, PR25 1DH and at the offices of The Director of Law and Governance, Lancashire County Council, County Hall, Fishergate, Preston, PR1 8XJ, and on Lancashire County Councils Website
