BLYMHILL AND WESTON UNDER LIZARD PARISH

TEMPORARY CLOSURE

Notice is hereby given that the Staffordshire County Council, on the 16/1/25 made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any pedestrians from proceeding along Public Footpath No. 0.838 Blymhill and Weston under Lizard Parish from its junction with Chatwell Lane for approximately 268 metres in a north easterly direction to its junction with Public Footpath No. 0.839 Blymhill and Weston under Lizard Parish.

The closure is required under the provision of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984 Section 14 (1) (b) due to mandatory improvement works taking place at Blymhill Sewage Treatment Works.

An alternative route is available by using the public rights of way network in the vicinity. A plan will be displayed on site to show the length of path to be closed and the unaffected rights of way in the area.

This Order came into operation on 20/1/25 and has been extended for a further period of eighteen months, until 20/1/27 or until the risk of danger to the public is over, whichever is the earlier. This extension has been given approval by the Secretary of State. If necessary, the Order may be extended for a further period.

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC

Notice is hereby given that Staffordshire County Council on 15/7/25 made an Order the effect of which is to temporarily prohibit vehicles proceeding along:

Wolverhampton Rd, Middle Hill. For more information regarding access arrangements, timings and diversion routes please visit https://one.network/?tm=143497358. The Order will come into operation on 21/7/25 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 23/7/25. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the new electrical supply works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

Bickford Rd, Bickford. For more information regarding access arrangements, timings and diversion routes please visit https://one.network/ ?tm=143146613. The Order will come into operation on 21/07/25 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 21/07/25. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the utility works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier. The Order will come into operation on 21/7/25 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 29/8/25. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the bridge remedial works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

The Order will come into operation on 24/7/25 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 24/7/25. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the pole replacement works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

Notice is hereby given that Staffordshire County Council on 15/7/25 made an Order the effect of which is to temporarily prohibit vehicles turning right onto the A5 or proceeding along:

Mill Ln, Weston Under Lizard. For more information regarding access arrangements, timings and diversion routes please visit https://one.network/?tm=143242358. The Order will come into operation on 20/7/25 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 20/7/25 The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the Bike4Life Event, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

Notice is hereby given that Staffordshire County Council intend not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order the effect of which is to temporarily prohibit vehicles proceeding along:

Hawthorne Rd, Wheaton Aston. For more information regarding access arrangements, timings and diversion routes please visit https://one.network/?tm= 143918928. The Order will come into operation on 5/8/25 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 17/8/25. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the reinforcement works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier. The Order will come into operation on 7/8/25 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 7/8/25. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the tree maintenance works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
