Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Wendron. This prohibition is necessary for Fibre infrastructure works and it is expected that the closure will be from 11th August 2025 to 12th August 2025. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekdays only.

Road affected - Crahan, Wendron between the junctions of Wendron and Trevenen.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned lengths of road in Trenear. This prohibition is necessary for fibre infrastructure works and it is expected that the closure will be from 11th August 2025 to 15th August 2025. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends included.

Roads affected - Coverack Bridges, Helston between grid reference SW67048 30483 and SW67131 30540 and Access To Lower Boscadjack, Trenear for its entire length.

This prohibition is necessary for fibre infrastructure works and it is expected that the closure will be from 11th August 2025 to 13th August 2025. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekdays only.

Road affected - Prospidnick, Chynhale, Sithney between grid reference SW63725 31145 and the junction of Prospidnick.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 14th July 2025 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Twelveheads. This prohibition is necessary for poling works and it is expected that the closure will be from 1st August 2025 for one day. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0830 and 1530, weekdays only.

Road affected - Road From Junction North Of Rising Sun Farm To Hilltop Cottages, Twelveheads between the property named Wheal Harmony Cottage and grid reference SW75659 42565.

This prohibition is necessary for new drainpipe works and it is expected that the closure will be from 11th August 2025 to 15th August 2025. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekdays only.

Roads affected - B3275 Between Junction At Trebeigh Farm And District Boundary, New Mills, Ladock between the property named Chapel House and grid reference SW90588 53421 and B3275 Between Brighton Cross And Borough Boundary, Brighton Cross, Grampound Road for its entire length.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Mount Hawke. This prohibition is necessary for wall repair works and it is expected that the closure will be from 11th August 2025 to 15th August 2025. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekdays only.

Road affected - Short Cross Road, Mount Hawke between the properties named Myrtle Cottage and Trelawney Cottage.

Cornwall Council
Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (RTRA 1984)
Temporary Traffic Restriction Order 2025

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 14th July 2025 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to prohibit the use by traffic over an area of highway being Market Street Falmouth for its entire length.

Notice is further given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above order in exercise of its powers under section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily suspend the existing one-way order The County of Cornwall (Falmouth) (Restrictions on Driving) (Consolidation) Order 1991 Market Street/Church Street/Arwenack Street (Class III) between its junctions with Killigrew Street and Swanpool Street for their entire lengths.

The Council is satisfied that the Order is needed because works are being executed on or near the road with a crane being used and pressure testing the road &footpath. The Order will come into operation on 28th July 2025 and the works are expected to be completed by the 30th July 2025. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 1900 and 0700 on a daily basis, weekdays only.

Nothing in Paragraph 1 of this Order will apply to emergency services, cyclists, traffic associated with the works required within the highway specified above, any vehicle being used for the purposes of an undertaker in an emergency, such as loss of utility supplies and anything done with the permission of or at the discretion of a police officer.

Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (RTRA 1984)
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2025

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 15th July 2025 in exercise of its powers under section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to prohibit the use by traffic over an area of highway being Footpath 3, Gunwalloe between grid references SW65612 21891 and SW65628 21880.

The Council is satisfied that the Order is needed because of the likelihood of danger to the public due to an unstable cliff. The Order will come into operation on 16th July 2025 and the works are expected to be completed by the 15th January 2026. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends included.

The road was previously closed for reasons of public safety by notice under Section 14(2) of the RTRA 1984 from the 25th June 2025 fora period of up to 21 days. Nothing in this Order will apply to traffic associated with the works required within the highway specified above, any vehicle being used for the purposes of an undertaker in an emergency, such as loss of utility supplies and anything done with the permission of or at the discretion of a police officer.
