(Chichester: B2178 St Pauls Road)
(Temporary Closure) Order 2025
NOTICE is hereby given that not less than 7 days from the date of this Notice WSCC intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to close the B2178 at St Pauls bridge.
The Order is necessary to protect public safety whilst bridge strengthening works are undertaken.
The Order will come into effect on 4 August 2025 and will last for 18 months or until the proposed works are completed, whichever is earlier. It is anticipated works will commence on or after 4 August 2025 and will take 3 weeks to complete.

(Chichester: Westhampnett Road)
(Temporary Closure) Order 2025
NOTICE is hereby given that not less than 7 days from the date of this Notice WSCC intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to close Westhampnett Road between the Westhampnett Road roundabout junction and A285 Sainsburys roundabout junction. The Order is necessary to protect public safety whilst an upgraded pedestrian crossing is installed.
The Order will come into effect on 4 August 2025 and will last for 18 months or until the proposed works are completed, whichever is earlier. It is anticipated works will commence on or after 4 August 2025 and will take 3 weeks to complete.

(Elsted & Treyford: Public Footpath No. 3355)
(Temporary Closure) Order 2025
NOTICE is hereby given that the Order made by WSCC under the
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and which came into force on
23 January 2025 with the consent of the Secretary of State for Transport, will now continue in force until 22 November 2026 or until the works are completed.
The Order is necessary to protect public safety due to an unstable bridge. The bridge structure will be fully refurbished including ground works to secure the footings with works due to be completed by autumn 2026.
The effect of the Order remains unchanged and is to prohibit any person from proceeding along a length of Public Footpath No. 3355 from its western end at its junction with the A286 Henley Old Road to Sand Hollow (SU893256), south-eastwards for 55M then north-eastwards for 17M (SU894255).
Unfortunately there is no alternative route available using the Public Rights of Way network.

(Felpham: Public Footpath FEL/153/5)
(Temporary Closure) Order 2025
NOTICE is hereby given that WSCC has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to temporarily close Public Footpath FEL/153/5 in Felpham from its junction with Wroxham Way southwards to its junction with Drygrounds Lane.
The closure of this route is needed to allow footway improvement works to be carried out in safety.
The Order will come into effect on 23 July 2025 and remain in force until 2 September 2025. Once made, the Order may remain in force for up to 18 months, or until the proposed works are completed, whichever is earlier.
During the operative periods of this Order an alternative route will be signed on nearby roads.
