Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (RTRA 1984)
The County of Cornwall (Road From Week Green To Highmoor, Week St Mary, Holsworthy) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 21st July 2025 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Holsworthy. This prohibition is necessary for pole replacement works and it is expected that the closure will be from 8th August 2025, for one day. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0830 and 1530, weekdays only.

Road affected - Road From Week Green To Highmoor, Week St Mary, Holsworthy between property known as Trecarrell and grid reference SX 25175 95830.

The County of Cornwall (Road From Medrow To Trevell Lane and Medrow, Polyphant, Launceston) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned lengths of road in Launceston. This prohibition is necessary for pole replacement and hedge cutting works and it is expected that the closure will be from 18th August 2025, for one day. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0930 and 1530, weekdays only. Roads affected - Road From Medrow To Trevell Lane for its entire length and Medrow between properties known as Mount Pleasant and East Lodge, Polyphant, Launceston. An alternative route will be signed on site. Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 21st July 2025 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Bude. This prohibition is necessary for pole replacement works and it is expected that the closure will be from 8th August 2025, for one day. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0830 and 1530, weekdays only.

Road affected - Road From Binhamy Road To Junction North West Of Howard Mill, Stratton, Bude for its entire length.

The County of Cornwall (Egloskerry Road and Road From Egloskerry Road To Atway Farm, Launceston) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Launceston. This prohibition is necessary for pole replacement works and it is expected that the closure will be from 24th August 2025, for one day. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0800 and 1600, weekdays only.

Road affected - Egloskerry Road, Launceston for its entire length and Road From Egloskerry Road To Atway Farm, Launceston between the juntion with Egloskerry Lane and property known as Four Winds.

The County of Cornwall (Road From Crimp To County Boundary, Morwenstow, Bude) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 21st July 2022 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Bude. This prohibition is necessary for new mains supply works to the Crimp Business Park and it is expected that the closure will be from 4th August 2025 to 12th August 2025. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends included. Road affected - Road From Crimp To County Boundary, Morwenstow, Bude between the junction with the A39 to property known as High Park. An alternative route will be signed on site. Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (RTRA 1984) Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2025

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 16th February 2025 in exercise of its powers under section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to prohibit the use by traffic over an area of highway being Footpath 12 in the Parish of North Petherwin for its entire length. The Council is satisfied that the Order is needed because of the likelihood of danger to the public due to a large collapsed bridge which has been washed away.

The Order which commenced on the 27th January 2025 and is currently in force for up to six months will now continue until the 27th January 2026. The continuance of this Order, which was to have expired on the 27th July 2025 has been approved by the Secretary of State for Transport. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends included.

The Council is satisfied that the Order is needed because of the likelihood of danger to the public due to a large collapsed bridge which has been washed away.

Nothing in this Order will apply to traffic associated with the works required within the highway specified above, any vehicle being used for the purposes of an undertaker in an emergency, such as loss of utility supplies and anything done with the permission of or at the discretion of a police officer.
Pedestrian access to residents and businesses will be maintained.

Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (RTRA 1984)
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2025

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 16th February 2025 in exercise of its powers under section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to prohibit the use by traffic over an area of highway being PROW Footpath 3, in the Parish of Morwenstow between grid references SS 21638 12743 and SS 21808 12783. The Council is satisfied that the Order is needed because works being executed on or near the public right of way to carry out replacement of defective bridge.

The Order which commenced on the 27th January 2025 and is currently in force for up to six months will now continue until the 26th January 2026. The continuance of this Order, which was to have expired on the 27th July 2025 has been approved by the Secretary of State for Transport. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends included.

The County of Cornwall (Belle Vue Avenue, Bude) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Bude. This prohibition is necessary for fibre connection works and it is expected that the closure will be from 19th August 2025 to 20th August 2025. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 2100 and 0600, weekdays only.

Road affected - Belle Vue Avenue, Bude between the junctions with Belle Vue Lane and Queen Street.
