Notice is hereby given that the Staffordshire County Council, on 4/7/23 made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any pedestrian from proceeding along Public Footpath No. 21 Armitage with Handsacre Parish from its junction with Public Footpath No. 28 Armitage with Handsacre Parish in an easterly direction along the southern bank of the Trent and Mersey Canal, for a distance of approximately 340 metres to the Railway Bridge at Old Road
The closure is required under the provision of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984 Section 14 (1) (b) due to concerns raised over the surface of the path on the southern side of the canal embankment. This will be assessed as soon as is possible.
No alternative route is available.
A plan will be displayed on site to show length of public footpath to be closed and the unaffected rights of way in the area.
This Order came into operation on 4/7/23 and has been extended for a further period of 18 months until 11/12/26 or until the risk of danger to the public is over, whichever is the earlier. If necessary, the Order may be extended for a further period with the approval of the Secretary of State.

Notice is hereby given that Staffordshire County Council on 15/7/25 made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along:
Stockhay Ln, Hammerwich. For more information regarding access arrangements, timings and diversion routes please visit https://one.network/?tm=143359146. The Order will come into operation on 23/7/25 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed on the same day. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the overhead cabling and tree cutting works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
Hay Ln, Longdon Green. For more information regarding access arrangements, timings and diversion routes please visit https://one.network/?tm=143300841. The Order will come into operation on 23/7/25 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 25/7/25. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the new connection works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

The Order will come into operation on 21/7/25 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 22/7/25. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the meter exchange, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
Notice is hereby given that Staffordshire County Council intend not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order the effect of which is to temporarily prohibit traffic proceeding along:

The Order will come into operation on 12/8/25 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 12/8/25. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the repair/ replacement of manhole frame and cover, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

The Order will come into operation on 12/8/25 the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 12/8/25. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the repair/replacement of manhole frame and cover, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the highway / carriageway repair works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

The Order will come into operation on 06/08/2025 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed on the same day. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the pole testing works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

The Order will come into operation on 5/8/25 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 7/8/25. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the permanent reinstatement, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

The Order will come into operation on 4/8/25 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 15/8/25. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the site investigation works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

The Order will come into operation on 1/8/25 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 1/8/25. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the tree trimming works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
