THE HARINGEY (FOOTPATH 106-107, NEW RIVER PATH N22)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF USE) ORDER 2025

The Council of the London Borough of Haringey has made the above Temporary Traffic Order under S14(1) Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as described below:–

New River Path N22 Public Right of Way (Footpath 106-107)

Reason for 14(1) Order – Resurfacing of cycleway and reconstruction of footway

Scheduled datesGeneral Effect of Order
Saturday 19th July to Saturday 13th September 2025Closure of footpath/cycleway to pedestrians and cyclists on New River Path N22 (public right of way No.106-107) between the junctions with Western Road/Coburg Road continuing in a south-westerly direction to the junction with Chadwell Lane/Greenways footpath. A distance of approximately 310 metres.

• South diversion route: Via Western Road/ Mary Neuner Road, Clarendon Road, Turnpike Lane, New River Path and vice versa

• North diversion route: From Alexandra Park, via Bedford Road, Buckingham Road, Station Road, New River Path and Western Road.

Time: 24hrs

The Order may continue in force for a maximum duration of 6 months or until works are completed, whichever is earlier.

The provisions of the Orders shall apply only at such times and as directed by traffic signs. For road closures, alternative routes will be directed by traffic signs. Access will be maintained where possible.
