THE BOROUGH COUNCIL OF CALDERDALE

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

(FORE LANE, SOWERBY BRIDGE)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Northern Gas Networks have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Fore Lane from St Peters Avenue to Haugh End Lane for a distance of approximately 285 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained to closure point. The alternative route is via Fore Lane Avenue, Sowerby New Road, Quarry Hill and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 21st July 2025 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 29th August 2025. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.

(FREE SCHOOL LANE, SAVILE PARK)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Yorkshire Water have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Free School Lane from junction with Heath Villas to Heath Road for a distance of approximately 70 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. The alternative route is via Savile Park Road, Skircoat Moor Road, Huddersfield Road. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 21st July 2025 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 29th July 2025. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.

(HANGINGROYD ROAD, HEBDEN BRIDGE)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Yorkshire Water have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Hangingroyd Road from No. 20 to No. 13 for a distance of approximately 29 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. For alternative route follow diversion on site.It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 21st July 2025 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 26th July 2025. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.

(LONDON ROAD, NORLAND)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Total Resources have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of London Road from Milner Royd to Norland Town Road for a distance of approximately 389 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. The alternative route is via Norland Town Road, Berry Moor Road, Sowerby Croft Lane, Spark House Lane and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 21st July 2025 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 21st July 2025. The Order will be in operation daily during this period between the hours of 09:30 & 16:30.

(OCCUPATION LANE, ILLINGWORTH)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Northern Gas Networks have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Occupation Lane from School Lane to Illingworth Road for a distance of approximately 360 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained 5to closure point. The alternative route is via unaffected part of Occupation Lane, Illingworth Road, Tewit Lane, School Lane and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 21st July 2025 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 29th August 2025. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.

(QUEENS ROAD, HALIFAX)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Yorkshire Water have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Queens Road from No. 114 to No. 122 for a distance of approximately 23 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. The alternative route is via Parkinson Lane, Warley Road, Hopwood Lane and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 21st July 2025 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 21st July 2025. The Order will be in operation daily during this period between the hours of 19:00 & 23:00.

(WITHINFIELDS, SOUTHOWRAM)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Withinfields from its junction with Law Lane to end for a distance of approximately 125 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. No alternative route available. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 21st July 2025 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 29th August 2025. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.

(SOUTHOWRAM BANK, HALIFAX)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Total Resources have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Southowram Bank from Steep Bank Side in a south-easterly direction for a distance of approximately 110 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. The alternative route is via Beacon Hill Road, Burdock Way, Charlestown Road and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 22ndJuly 2025 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 22nd July 2025. The Order will be in operation daily during this period between the hours of 09:30 & 16:30.

(CLAY PITS LANE, COTTON STONES)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Total Resources have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Clay Pits Lane from Alma Inn to Lighthazles Road for a distance of approximately 117 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. The alternative route is via Alma Lane, Lumb Lane, Mill Bank Road, Lower Mill Bank Road, Foxen Lane, Lane, Head Road, Cross Wells Road, Blackshaw Clough Road, Lighthazles Road and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 25th July 2025 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 25th July 2025. The Order will be in operation daily during this period between the hours of 09:00 & 11:00.

(FOXEN LANE, MILL BANK)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Total Resources have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Foxen Lane from its junction with Lane Head Road for a distance of approximately 195 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. For alternative route follow diversion on site. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 25th July 2025 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 25th July 2025. The Order will be in operation daily during this period between the hours of 09:30 & 16:00.

(BOGGART LANE, SOWERBY BRIDGE)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Spectrum Comms Solutions Ltd have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Boggart Lane from its junction with Sowerby Croft Lane to Lower Clyde Street for a distance of approximately 175 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained to closure point. The alternative route is via Bank Road, Scar Head Road and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 21st July 2025 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 25th July 2025. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.

(BATTINSON STREET, SOUTHOWRAM)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by OCU Utility Services Ltd intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Battinson Street from its junction with Bank Top to No. 8 for a distance of approximately 25 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. No alternative route available – access will be maintained for residents. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 4th August 2025 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 22nd August 2025. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period

(BIRCHCLIFFE ROAD, HEBDEN BRIDGE)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Yorkshire Water intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Birchcliffe Road from No. 1 to No. 4 for a distance of approximately 49 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. The alternative route is via Keighley Road, Akroyd Lane, Parrock Lane, Height Road, Wadsworth Lane and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 4th August 2025 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 5th August 2025. The Order will be in operation daily during this period between the hours of 19:00 & 01:00.

(CROWN STREET, HALIFAX)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Clearview Services Group intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle or pedestrian to proceed in the length of Crown Street from its junction with Princess Street to Commercial Street for a distance of approximately 55 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. For alternative route for vehicles follow diversion on site. The alternative route for pedestrians is via Waterhouse Street, Crossley Street, Princess Street. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 4th August 2025 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 7th August 2025. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.

(NEW ROAD, HOLYWELL GREEN)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Dutton Traffic Management Services Ltd intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of New Road from its junction with Old Lindley Road to Old Lindley Farm for a distance of approximately 60 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. The alternative route is via Jagger Green Lane, Station Road, Stainland Road, New Hey Road and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 4th August 2025 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 6th August 2025. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.

(MILE CROSS ROAD, HALIFAX)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Yorkshire Water intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Mile Cross Road from No. 6 to No. 8 for a distance of approximately 10 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. The alternative route is via Spring Hall Lane, Warley Road, Hopwood Lane, Westbury Place and vice versa. Access to be maintained for residents. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 5th August 2025 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 5th August 2025. The Order will be in operation daily during this period between the hours of 08:00 & 18:00.

(OLD COCK YARD, HALIFAX)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Ground Up Solutions Ltd intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Old Cock Yard from its junction with Commercial Street to The Old Cock for a distance of approximately 60 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. No alternative route available. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 10th August 2025 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road  re-opened on 10th August 2025. The Order will be in operation daily during this period between the hours of 08:00 & 18:00.
