ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14

(GRANGE ROAD, GEDDINGTON)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that North Northamptonshire Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Grange Road, Geddington as set out below.

LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Grange Road, Geddington from the junction of the A43 (Rockingham Road) to Grange Farm House.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during tree removal works.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 4th August 2025 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the road will be restricted for up to 5 days.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: use A43, Weekley Wood Lane and Stamford Road.

(WELLINGTON STREET, KETTERING)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that North Northamptonshire Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Wellington Street, Kettering as set out below.

LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Wellington Street, Kettering from the junction of Montagu Street to the junction of Lindsay Street.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during road crossing works.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 4th August 2025 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the road will be restricted for up to 12 days.

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that North Northamptonshire Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Ecton Lane, Earls Barton as set out below.

LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Ecton Lane, Earls Barton from outside no.104 to no.110.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during replacement of gas works.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 4th August 2025 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that North Northamptonshire Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Harrowden Road, Wellingborough as set out below.

LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Harrowden Road, Wellingborough – between Roche Way and The Pyghtle.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during post and rail repairs.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 5th August 2025 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the road will be restricted for 1 day.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14

(CROMWELL ROAD, RUSHDEN)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that North Northamptonshire Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Cromwell Road, Rushden as set out below.

LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Cromwell Road, Rushden from the junction with Newton Road.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during HV cable works.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 6th August 2025 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the road will be restricted for up to 3 days.

(KETTERING ROAD, ISLIP)

(TEMPORARY 30 MPH SPEED LIMIT) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that North Northamptonshire Council have made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit traffic from exceeding 30 mph along that length of Kettering Road, Islip as set out below.

LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH SPEED LIMIT APPLIES: That length of Kettering Road, Islip – alongside the Industrial Estate from Slipton Road.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety whilst live gas sources is isolated.

PERIOD OF SPEED LIMIT REDUCTION: The proposed Order will come into effect on 21st July 2025 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

(TEMPORARY 40 MPH SPEED LIMIT)  ORDER  2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that North Northamptonshire Council have made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit traffic from exceeding 40 mph along that length of Burton Road, Burton Latimer as set out below.

LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH SPEED LIMIT APPLIES: That length of Burton Road, Burton Latimer from either side of the junction with Higham Road.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety whilst ongoing works to the highway.

PERIOD OF SPEED REDUCTION: The proposed Order will come into effect on 28th July 2025 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the road will be restricted for up to 39 days.

LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Ford Street, Kettering from the junction with Montagu Street.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 23rd July 2025 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Higham Road, Burton Latimer from the junction with the A6.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during signalisation, surfacing, signage and lining of the A6 Higham Road junction.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 21st July 2025 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of The Slips, Great Harrowden – from travelling west on The Slips and starting approximately 475 metres after house number 154.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during Network Road Bridge Inspection.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 18th July 2025 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
