What is happening?
THE SHROPSHIRE COUNCIL
(PROHIBITION AND RESTRICTION OF WAITING AND PARKING
PLACES) (CONSOLIDATION) ORDER 2009 (VARIOUS STREETS,
OSWESTRY) (AMENDMENT) ORDER
Shropshire Council proposes to place the following parking restrictions in Oswestry:
Prohibition of Stopping on School Keep Clear markings
Monday-Friday 8:15-9:15am and 2:30-3:30pm
Middleton Road
North side
From a point 10 meters east of its junction with Monkmoor Road for a distance of 37 meters in an easterly direction.
Middleton Road
South side
From a point 21 metres east of its junction with Monkmoor Road for a distance of 31 metres in a westerly direction.
Beech Grove
East side From a point 13 metres north of its northernmost junction with The Green for a distance of 43.56 metres in a northerly direction.
Beech Grove
East side From a point 13 metres north of its northernmost junction with The Green for a distance of 43.56 metres in a south-easterly direction.
No Waiting or Loading At Any Time
Middleton Road
North side From a point 12 metres west of its junction with Monkmoor Road to a point 10 metres east of that junction.
Monkmoor Road
Both sides From its junction with Middleton Road for a distance of 10 metres in a northerly direction.
Beech Grove
West side From its junction with Laburnum Drive for a distance of 13 metres in a northerly and 14 metres in a southerly direction.
Laburnum Drive
Both sides From its junction with Beech Grove for a distance of 10 metres in a westerly direction.

ORDER 2007 (AMENDMENT) ORDER
Shropshire Council proposes to implement a 20mph speed limit on the following lengths of roads in Oswestry:
20mph Speed Limit
Middleton Road That length of Middleton Road commencing from its junction with College Road to a point 73 metres west of its junction with Ardmillan Lane.
Ardmillan Lane Whole length.
Ardmillan Close Whole length.
Any existing speed limits on these lengths of roads will be revoked.
