What is happening?
THE SHROPSHIRE COUNCIL
(BOROUGH OF SHREWSBURY & ATCHAM) (NO. 1)
(SPEED LIMITS) ORDER 2006 (AMENDMENT NO. 1) ORDER 2025
On 14 July 2025 Shropshire Council made an order to reduce the speed limit from
50mph to 30mph on the following length of road in Shrewsbury:
That length of A5112 Pritchard Way from its junction with the Sutton Park
Roundabout to a point approximately 97 metres north-east of that junction.
These changes will come into effect on 21 July 2025.
A copy of the order may be examined during normal office hours (8:45am-5:00pm
Monday to Thursday, and 8:45am-4:00pm on Fridays) at Shropshire Council, The
Guildhall, Frankwell, Shrewsbury.
If you wish to question the validity of the Order, or any provisions in it, on the
grounds that they are not within the powers conferred by The Road Traffic
Regulation Act 1984, or on the grounds that any requirement of that Act or of any
instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to the Order, you
may, within six weeks from 14 July 2025, apply for that purpose to the High Court.
