Chapel By-Pass - Temporary 30 Mph Speed Limit
What is happening?
DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY 30 MPH SPEED LIMIT
CHAPEL BY-PASS, CHAPEL-EN-LE-FRITH
WHEN: 21 July to 24 July 2025 (06:00 to 16:00 daily)
WHERE: It will be necessary to prohibit traffic from travelling at a speed in excess of 30 mph, from Barmoor Clough to Bridgemont Roundabout.
REASON: Grass cutting, gully cleansing, potholes, sweeping, litter picking.
The restriction will be in force for the time stated or until the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire - 01629 533190. The County Council has made an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit traffic from travelling at a speed in excess of 30 mph.
