What is happening?

DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
HIGH STREET, LOSCOE & DENBY LANE, LOSCOE

WHEN: 05 August to 06 August 2025 (19:00 to 06:00)
WHERE: High Street, Loscoe between its Jct. with The Nook and its Jct. with Grandfield Street.
Denby Lane, Loscoe between its Jct. with High Street and its Jct. with The Nook.
REASON: To facilitate carriageway repairs.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE:
1. A6007 High Street / Crosshill / Codnor Road, A610 Market Place / Nottingham Road / Cromford Road, A610 from Jct. with Cromford Road to New Derby Road, Langley Mill Bypass, A610 to New Derby Road Roundabout Off Slip, Langley Mill Interchange, A608, New Derby Road / Derby Road / Enterprise Way / Station Road, / Mansfield Road / Church Street, A6007 Market Street and vice versa.
2. A6007 High Street / Heanor Road / Loscoe Road / High Street, A608: Derby Road / Heanor Road, A609 Church Lane / Main Street, Ryknield Road, Denby Lane, Church Street, High Bank, Denby Common, Heanor Road, Denby Lane, Loscoe and vice versa
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190. The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
