Main Road, Pentrich Road - Temporary Road Closure

TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
MAIN ROAD, PENTRICH ROAD, PENTRICH

WHEN: 21 July to 02 September 2025
WHERE: Main Road, Pentrich Road, Pentrich between its Jct. with Farm Close and its junction with Highfield Road.
REASON: To facilitate the installation of a new gas main.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: B6016 Main Road/ Wood Lane/ Pentrich Lane End, B6013 Chesterfield Road/ Four Lane Ends, A615 Wingfield Road/ Eachwell Lane, A61 Derby Road /Watchorn Island, B6179 Derby Road, B6016 Pentrich Road and vice versa. and vice versa. Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised. The County Council has made an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
