What is happening?

FALKIRK COUNCIL

THE FALKIRK COUNCIL (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

The Council has made the Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to temporarily prohibit vehicles on:

Inchyra Service Road, Grangemouth from 06:00 hours on 20/07/2025 until 17.00 hours on 27/07/2025. The prohibition is to allow for carriageway resurfacing.

1. This Order temporarily closes Inchyra Service Road for approximately 400m from its’ junction with B9143-Inchyra Road near Hazco Environmental to its junction with B9143- Inchyra Road near Sealock House.

A9, (Etna Road to Abbots Road), Falkirk, for 1 day between 07:00 hours on 21/07/25 until 17:00 hours on 08/08/25. The prohibition is to allow for carriageway surface dressing works.

1. This Order temporarily closes the A9, Falkirk from its junction with the Etna Road to its junction with Abbots Road.
2. The alternative route: A9, A904, A803, A9, and vice versa.

A9 (Glenbervie Roundabout to the Falkirk/Stirling Council boundary), Torwood for 1 day between 07:00 hours on 21/07/25 until 17:00 hours on 08/08/25. The prohibition is to allow for carriageway surface dressing works.

1. This Order temporarily closes A9, from its junction with Glenbervie Roundabout (A801) to the Falkirk/Stirling Council boundary.
2. The alternative routes: A9, Larbert; A88, Larbert/Stenhousemuir; A905; A905, Airth; A905, A905, Throsk; A905 Fallin; A91; A91, Bannockburn; A91; A91, Plean; A91 and vice versa.

A905 (Dunsmore to the Falkirk/Stirling Council boundary) for 1 day between 07:00 hours on 21/07/25 until 17:00 hours on 08/08/25. The prohibition is to allow for carriageway surface dressing works.

1. This Order temporarily closes A905, from its junction with Dunsmore to the Falkirk/Stirling Council boundary.
2. The alternative routes: A905, A88, A9, A91, A905, and vice versa.

A905, Skinflats to South Bellsdyke Roundabout, for 1 day between 07:00 hours on 21/07/25 until 17:00 hours on 08/08/25. The prohibition is to allow for carriageway surface dressing works.

1. This Order temporarily closes A905 from its junction with Bothkennar Road to its junction with South Bellsdyke Roundabout.
2. The alternative route: South Bellsdyke Roundabout, A88, C116, C19, C42, and vice versa.

B825, by Standburn for 1 day between 07:00 hours on 21/07/25 until 17:00 hours on 08/08/25. The prohibition is to allow for carriageway surface dressing works.

1. This Order temporarily closes B825, from its junction with Bowhouse Roundabout (A801) to its junction with Boxton Road (C53).
2. The alternative routes: B825, B8028, B810, B805, A801 and vice versa.

THE FALKIRK COUNCIL (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF WAITING) ORDER 2025

The Council has made the Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to temporarily prohibit waiting in:

Abbots Road, Grangemouth from 08:00 on 21/07/25 until 17:00 on 29/08/25. The prohibition is to allow for Utility works to be undertaken.

1. This order prohibits waiting on Abbots Road, Grangemouth from a point adjacent to Orchard Street in a southerly direction on both sides for approximately 300 metres or thereby.

Coronation Place, Skinflats from 09:30 until 18:00 on 23/07/25. The prohibition is to allow for Scottish Water works to be undertaken.

1. This order prohibits waiting on Coronation Place, Skinflats from a point adjacent to Zetland Place in a southerly direction on both sides for approximately 45 metres or thereby.
