Chevin Road - Temporary Road Closure

TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
CHEVIN ROAD, MILFORD

WHEN: 04 August to 18 August 2025
WHERE: Chevin Road, Milford between its Jct. with Derby Road and its Jct. with Sunny Hill.
REASON: To facilitate the installation of a new gas main.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Derby Road, The Bridge, Chapel Street, Bridge Street, Matlock Road, Bridge Foot, Bridge Hill, Ashbourne Road, Farnah Green, Chevin Road, and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised. The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
