ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 (1) TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC
STANHOPE STREET LAYBY, GOOLE
Notice is hereby given that East Riding of Yorkshire Council intends not less than seven days from the
date of this notice to make an Order, the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along Stanhope Street Layby, Goole commencing 1 August 2025 until 30 June 2026.
The road closure is necessary to enable a safe working zone for construction works on new
apartments by Kitchen Civils to be carried out in a manner consistent with ensuring the safety of the public. The Order is valid for 18 months, but it is anticipated that the works will be completed by
30 June 2026. The alternative route for traffic affected by the road closure will be via: N/A.
The footway will be closed however an alternative footway will be provided. The diversion route will be signed at the time of closure. The road will be closed to all traffic but access will be maintained for emergency vehicles, residents and pedestrians.
