TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE – WORTING ROAD, BASINGSTOKE & DEANE
What is happening?
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council has made an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: that part of Worting Road between its junction with West Ham Lane and its junction with Worting Roundabout. ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Kingsclere Road, London Road, Andover Road, Worting Road, Churchill West Way, Ringway West (Northbound), George Street, Swan Street, Winchester Road, White Hill
DURATION OF ORDER: from Monday 28th July 2025 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 3 weeks and in operation 24 hours a day).
