Old Mill Lane, Horndean, East Hampshire - Temporary Road Closure due to new water connection

What is happening?

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council has made an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road. 
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: that part of Old Mill Lane between its junction with Monarchs Way and continuing to a point 215 metres West on Old Mill Lane.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Old Mill Lane, Broadway Lane.
DURATION OF ORDER: from Monday 28th July 2025 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner.  (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 5 days and in operation 24 hours a day). 
The Temporary Road Closure has been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate works for Cappagh Contractors to complete new water connection. If there are any queries or enquires regarding this Order please contact: enquires@portsmouthwater.co.uk
