TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
CARTER LANE EAST, SOUTH NORMANTON

WHEN: 04 August to 08 August 2025.
WHERE: Carter Lane East, South Normanton from its jct. with the B6406 Interchange for a distance of 100m in a westerly direction.
REASON: To facilitate cabling works.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Clockwise - B6406 Interchange, A38 On Slip, A38, M1 J28 Interchange, B6019, Market Street, Church St, Main Street, Water Street, Ball Hill, Carter Lane East. Anti-Clockwise - Carter Lane East, Ball Hill, Water Street, Main Street, Church Street, Market Street, B6019, M1 J28 Interchange, A38, A38 Off Slip, B6406 Interchange.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised. The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
