What is happening?
THE NOTTINGHAMSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL (ABBOTT ROAD, MANSFIELD) (PROHIBITION OF WAITING)
TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2025 (2283)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Nottinghamshire County Council proposes to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, Traffic Management Act 2004, as amended, and The Civil Enforcement of Parking Contraventions (County of Nottinghamshire) Designation Order 2008 (SI 2008 No. 1086), as amended, the effects of which will be, in respects of roads at Mansfield in the District of Mansfield: -
1. Proposed prohibition from Waiting At Any Time along the following length of roads:
Abbot Road, Mansfield (North side)
From a point 27 metres west of its junction with Shaftesbury Avenue in an Easterly direction to a point 17 metres east of that junction
Abbott Road, Mansfield (South side)
From its junction with Newport Crescent in a westerly direction for 30 metres
Abbott Road, Mansfield (West side)
From its junction with Abbott Road in a north westerly direction for 10 metres
Ruskin Road, Mansfield (North-east side)
From its junction with Shaftesbury Avenue in a north westerly direction for 14 metres
Ruskin Road, Mansfield (South-west side)
From its junction with Shaftesbury Avenue in a north westerly direction for 17 metres
Shaftsbury Avenue, Mansfield (South-west side)
From its junction with Abbott Road in a north easterly direction to a point 4 metres northeast of its junction with Ruskin Road
Shaftsbury Avenue, Mansfield (East side)
From its junction with Abbott Road in a northerly direction for 14 metres
2. Proposed Bus Stop Clearway (No Stopping at any time except buses) along the following lengths of road:-
Abbott Road, Mansfield (north side)
From a point 28 metres east of its junction with Newport Crescent in an easterly direction for 19 metres.
Abbott Road, Mansfield (south side)
From a point opposite a point 28 metres west of its junction with Fairholme Drive in a in a westerly direction for 19 metres.
