Coombe Road, East Meon, East Hampshire - Temporary Road Closure due to utility works

What is happening?

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council has made an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road. 
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: t
hat part of Coombe Road between its junction with Temple Lane and continuing to a point 560 metres West on Coombe Road. 
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Coombe Lane, Droxford Road, Clanfield Road, High Street, Chapel Street.
DURATION OF ORDER: from Friday 1st August 2025 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner.  (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 3 weeks and in operation 24 hours a day). 
The Temporary Road Closure has been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate works for S&H Surfacing to complete utility works.
