What is happening?
THE WOLVERHAMPTON CITY COUNCIL
(HORDERN ROAD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Wolverhampton City Council propose to make an Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as
substituted by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, prohibiting vehicles from proceeding on Hordern Road in both directions between the junction of Court Road to outside property 231.
The Order may operate for a maximum period of eighteen months, but it is anticipated that the works will be undertaken on 24 July 2025, between the hours of
09:30 and 14:30.
The diversion route is: Aldersley Road, Lower Street, Tettenhall Road, Newhampton Road West, Hunter Street and vice versa.
The Order is required to facilitate the repair/ replacement of a defective frame and cover by Severn Trent Water.
