Kent County Council, acting in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, makes or intends to make the following Orders.
SEVENOAKS AREA
A20 London Road, West Kingsdown, TN15 6ES (CYCLE LANE SUSPENSION) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
Because of utility repair and maintenance works, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily suspend the cycle lane on part of A20 London Road, West Kingsdown, on or after 21st July 2025 for up to 4 days between 09.30hrs and 15.30hrs or until the works have been completed.
The cycle lane will be suspended northbound between Kent Close and Turners Court.
A225 Station Road & A225 Sevenoaks Road, Otford, TN14 5QA (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
Because of gas mains replacement works, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of A225 Station Road and A225 Sevenoaks Road, Otford.
A225 Station Road is planned from 21st July 2025, with estimated completion by 25th August 2025.
A225 Sevenoaks Road is planned from 28th July 2025, with estimated completion by 31st August 2025.
A225 Station Road will be closed between A225 Sevenoaks Road and number 41.
A225 Sevenoaks Road will be closed between A225 Station Road and Bubblestone Road.
A225 Shoreham Road, A225 Station Road, A225 High Street, A225 Eynsford Road, A20 London Road, A20 Gorse Hill, A20 London Road, A227 Wrotham Bypass, A227 Borough Green Road, A227 Wrotham Road, A227 Western Road, A25 Sevenoaks Road, A25 Borough Green Road, A25 Ightham Bypass, A25 Sevenoaks Road, A25 Maidstone Road, A25 High Street, A25 Seal Road, A225 Otford Road, A225 Sevenoaks Road and vice versa.
Chevening Cross Road, Chevening, TN14 6HF (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
Because of UK Power Networks works, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Chevening Cross Road, Chevening, on or after 4th August 2025 for up to 29 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed at the junction with B2211 Ovenden Road.
The alternative route is via Chevening Cross Road, B2211 Ovenden Road/Chevening Road, A25 Main Road/Westerham Road, Homedean Road and vice versa.
Coppings Road, Leigh, TN11 8PN (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
Because of drainage works to repair and improve drainage, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Coppings Road, Leigh, on or after 4th August 2025 for up to 13 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed between Coppings Farm and Scabharbour Road.
The alternative route is via Philpots Lane, Rings Hill, Stocks Green Road, B2027 Hildenborough Road, B2027 High Street, B2027 Penshurst Road, B2027 Tonbridge Road, Compasses Hill, Coppings Road and vice versa.
Farley Lane, Westerham, TN16 1RQ (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
Because of Openreach works, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Farley Lane, Westerham, on or after 4th August 2025 for up to 5 days between 09.30hrs and 15.30hrs or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed between A25 Westerham Road and New Winterton.
The alternative route is via B2024 Croydon Road, A25 High Street/Westerham Road and vice versa.
Hever Road, Edenbridge, TN8 7LD (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
Because of Openreach works, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Hever Road, Edenbridge, on or after 5th August 2025 for up to 1 day between 09.30hrs and 15.30hrs or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside Delaware Cottages.
The alternative route is via Uckfield Lane, Cowden Pound Road, B2026 Stick Hill, B226 Hartfield Road, B2026 Mill Hill, Hever Road and vice versa.
Manor Lane, Fawkham, DA3 8ND (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
Because of a sewer connection, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Manor Lane, Fawkham, on or after 4th August 2025 for up to 5 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside Eureka Sun Development.
The alternative route is via Michaels Lane, Valley Road and vice versa.
Park Lane, Godden Green, TN15 0JN (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
Because of South East Water works, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Park Lane, Godden Green, on or after 23rd July 2025 for up to 3 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside 2 Pond Cottage.
The alternative route is via Park Lane, Grove Road, Hall Hill, Stone Street, Stone Street Road, High Cross Road, A227 Tonbridge Road/Stumble Hill/Shipbourne Road/Dry Hill Park Road, B245 London Road/Tonbridge Road, Mill Lane, Carters Hill, Park Lane and vice versa.
Various Roads, Sevenoaks (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
Because of gas works, Kent County Council has made an Order prohibiting through traffic on Various Roads, Sevenoaks, as per the schedule below.
Ashgrove Road 23 July 2025 - 31 August 2025
Closed between Oak Lane and April Cottage.
Diversion is via Ashgrove Road, Weald Road, Gracious Lane, A225 Tonbridge Road, Oak Lane and vice versa.
Brittains Lane 23 July 2025 - 31 August 2025
Closed between Oak Lane and Beaconside.
Diversion is via Brittains Lane, A224 Amherst Hill, A224 London Road, A225 High Street, Oak Lane and vice versa.
Dibden Lane 23 July 2025 - 31 August 2025
Closed at the junction with Oak Lane.
Diversion is via Dibden Lane, B2042 Cold Arbor Road, A25 Worships Hill/The Square/London Road Roundabout, A224 Amherst Hill/London Road, A225 High Street, Oak Lane and vice versa.
Oak Lane 23 July 2025 - 31 August 2025
Closed between Dibden Lane and Brittains Lane.
Diversion is via Oak Lane, Gracious Lane, A225 Tonbridge Road, Oak Lane and vice versa.
Various Roads, SWANLEY, Sevenoaks (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
Because of gas works, Kent County Council has made an Order prohibiting through traffic on Various Roads, Swanley, Sevenoaks, as per the schedule below.
St Georges Road 21 July 2025 - 11 August 2025
Closed at the junction with B2173 London Road.
Diversion is via B2173 London Road, Salisbury Avenue and vice versa.
London Road, Moreton Industrial Estate 23 July 2025 - 29 August 2025
Closed between Robina Court and the dead end.
Beechenlea Lane 11 August 2025 - 29 August 2025
Closed at the junction with B2173 London Road.
Diversion is via B2173 London Road/High Street, B258 Swanley Lane, Highlands Hill, Swanley Village Road, Beechenlea Lane and vice versa.
Salisbury Avenue 11 August 2025 - 29 August 2025
Diversion is via B2173 London Road, St Georges Road and vice versa.
