(B4232 West Malvern Road, Malvern) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025
Proposed Order: To close that part of B4232 West Malvern Rd from its junction with C2207 Old Hollow to its junction with U63545 Old Hollow.
Reason: Footway reconstruction by WCC.
Alternative route: B4232 West Malvern Rd (part) into Herefordshire, B4218 Old Wyche Rd, A449 Wells Rd, A449 Worcester Rd, B4232 North Malvern Rd, B4232 West Malvern Rd (part) and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 4 days (24hrs). Commencing: 4 August 2025.
(A449 Wells Road, Malvern) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025
Order made: To close that part of A449 Wells Rd from its junction with A4104 Little Malvern for a distance of 970 metres in a south westerly direction.
Reason: Tree maintenance by Adrian Hope Tree Services.
Alternative route: A449 Wells Rd into Herefordshire (part), A438 Hollybush, B4208 Croome Green, B4208 Castle Morton, B4208 Castle Morton Common, B4208 Gloucester Rd, A4104 Marlbrook Rd, A4104 Little Malvern and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 5 days. Commencing: 14 July 2025.
(U63527 Hornyold Road/U63528 Trinity Road, Malvern) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025
Proposed Order: To close that part of:
Closure 1 – U63527 Hornyold Road from its junction with B4219 Cowleigh Rd to its junction with U63528 Trinity Rd.
Closure 2 – U63528 Trinity Road from its junction with U63527 Hornyold Rd to its junction with B4219 Cowleigh Rd.
Reason: Carriageway patching by WCC.
Alternative route: B4219 Cowleigh Rd, C2207 Cowleigh Bank, C2207 Belmont Rd, C2207 Sayers Ave, B4503 Leigh Sinton Rd, B4503 Newtown Rd, A449 Worcester Rd, B4232 North Malvern Rd and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day between 4 August 2025 and 15 August 2025.
(C2250 Coles Green, Leigh Sinton) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025
Order made: To close that part of C2250 Coles Green from its junction with C2227 Sherridge Rd to its junction with U62234 Kingshill.
Reason: Drainage/flood alleviation by WCC.
Alternative route: C2250 Coles Green (part), C2227 Sherridge Rd, C2064 Smith End Green, C2064 Stitchins Hill, C2250 Sandlin, C2250 Coles Green (part) and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 5 days. Commencing: 14 July 2025.
EXEMPTIONS: TO PERMIT ACCESS TO ANY LAND OR PREMISES FRONTING THE HIGHWAY AFFECTED WHERE THERE IS NO OTHER FORM OF ACCESS; AND TO ALLOW THE WORKS TO BE UNDERTAKEN.

(Malvern Hills District) (Civil Enforcement Area) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2013 (Variation) Order 2025 [Prohibition of Waiting on B4211 Hanley Road, Upton]
On 26 June 2025 Worcestershire County Council made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit waiting at any time and no waiting on verges or footways on the following lengths of road in Upton: -
B4211 Hanley Road, Upton– (northeast side) from its junction with the A4104 for a distance of 52m in a north westerly direction and from a point 104m north west of its junction with A4104 for a distance of 120m in a north westerly direction.
(Southwest side) from its junction with A4104 for a distance of 53m in a north westerly direction and from a point 96m northwest of its junction with the A4104 for a distance of 125m in a north westerly direction.
The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons’ vehicles.
The Order will come into operation on 17 July 2025.
A copy of the Order, relevant map and Statement of Reasons for making the Order may be downloaded at the Malvern Hills Public Notice page on the Worcestershire County Council Website or inspected at Malvern Hills District Council, Council House, Avenue Road, Malvern WR14 3AF and Wildwood, Wildwood Drive, Worcester WR5 2QT during normal office hours.
The validity of the Council’s powers in making the Order or this exercise of them may be questioned by application to the High Court within 6 weeks from the date on which the Order was made.
(Malvern Hills District) (Civil Enforcement Area) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2013 (Variation) Order 2025 [Disabled Persons’ Parking Space & No Waiting (Proposals & Revocations) on A4104 Old Street, Upton upon Severn]
On 26 June 2025 Worcestershire County Council made an Order the effect of which will be to create a disabled persons’ parking space on the following length of road in Upton Upon Severn:
Disabled Badge Holders Only (Revocation of existing Limited Waiting)
Old Street, Upton (west side) – a point 100.5m north of its junction with Backfields Lane for a distance of 6.6m in a northerly direction.
Prohibition of Waiting At Any Time on the following side and length of road in Upton upon Severn:
No Waiting at Any Time (Revocation of the current Disabled Badge Holders Only).
Old Street, Upton (west side) – from a point 107.1m north of its junction with Backfields Lane for a distance of 6.6m in a northerly direction.
