What is happening?
THE WOLVERHAMPTON CITY COUNCIL
(VICTORIA ROAD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Wolverhampton City Council propose to make an Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as substituted by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, prohibiting vehicles from proceeding on Victoria Road in both directions from its
junction with Cannock Road to its junction with Bushbury Road.
The Order may operate for a maximum period of eighteen months, but it is anticipated that the works will be undertaken from 22 July 2025 until 29 August 2025.
The diversion route is: Cannock Road, Bushbury Road and vice versa.
The Order is required to facilitate gas mains replacement by Cadent Gas.
