Glebe Drive & Glebe Drive Footpaths, Gosport - Temporary Road Closure & Footpath Closure due to drainage and connection works

What is happening?

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council has made an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road. 
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: that part of Glebe Drive between its junction with House Numbers 41 & 48 and the roads termination heading in a Westerly direction. 
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: N/A
FOOTPATH TO BE CLOSED
: that part of Glebe Drive Footpaths between its junction with Glebe Drive and its junction with High Drive. 
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: High Drive Footpaths, Glebe Drive Footpaths, Glebe Drive
DURATION OF ORDER: from 28th July 2025 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner.  (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 3 months, and in operation for 24 hours a day. Please note that there are 2 sets of works happening within this 3-month period, with the closures being lifted in between each set).  The road closure & footpath closure has been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate works for PMC Construction and Development Services Ltd to carry out s106 drainage connection and s278 works. PMC Construction and Development Services will provide reasonable facilities to allow access to adjacent premises and provide notice to those directly affected while the work is being carried out.  A copy of this notice can be viewed: www.hants.gov.uk/publicnotices.
