The East Sussex (Public Footpath Crowborough 15a) (Temporary Footpath Closure) Order 2022 To protect public safety during a housing development, the Secretary of State has extended the above East Sussex County Council’s Order made on 1 July 2022 under Sections 14(1) and 15(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, which will temporarily close the following footpath:
Temporary Footpath Closure
The whole of Public Footpath Crowborough 15a will be closed to all users between TQ 5281 2919 and TQ 5270 2869. Unfortunately, there is no alternative route.
The closure will be in force for 12 months from 14 July 2025, or until the works are completed, whichever is the earlier, which after this period will require an extension from the Secretary of State, should the footpath still be unavailable to use.
