Bereweeke Road, Winchester - Temporary Road Closure due to utility works
What is happening?
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council has made an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: that part of Bereweeke Road between its junction with Andover Road and continuing to a point 124 metres West on Bereweeke Road.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Stockbridge Road, Clifton Terrace, St Pauls Hill, Upper High Street, Andover Road.
DURATION OF ORDER: from Sunday 27th July 2025 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 1 days and working between the hours 09:30-15:30).
