What is happening?

THE WOLVERHAMPTON CITY COUNCIL
(WINDERMERE ROAD) (TEMPORARY
PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Wolverhampton
City Council have made an Order under Section
14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as
substituted by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions)
Act 1991, prohibiting vehicles from proceeding on
Windermere Road in both directions at its junction with
Codsall Road.
The Order may operate for a maximum period of
eighteen months, but it is anticipated that the works will
be undertaken from 12 July 2025 until 13 July 2025.

The diversion route is: Codsall Road, Pendeford
Avenue and vice versa.
The Order is required to facilitate access to telecoms
chamber to repair a damaged telecoms duct by City
Fibre.
