NOTICE OF MAKING
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
LANCASHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
(SANDYGATE, BURNLEY, BURNLEY BOROUGH) (20MPH SPEED LIMIT) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on 02 July 2025 Lancashire County Council made the above Speed Limit Order under Section 84 the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be to introduce a 20mph speed limit in Sandygate, Burnley, from a point 15 metres west of its junction with the centreline of Queen's Lancashire Way to a point 10.5 metres north east of its junction with the centreline of Trafalgar Street.

This Order will come into force on the 14 July 2025. A copy of the Order, and all other relevant documents may be inspected during normal office hours at the offices of Burnley Borough Council, Town Hall, Manchester Road, Burnley, BB11 9SA, and at the offices of The Director of Law and Governance, Lancashire County Council, County Hall, Fishergate, Preston PR1 8XJ, and on Lancashire County Councils Website
