(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE)
ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on the following sections in the County of Northumberland.
U9711 Southend Avenue, Blyth from its junction with C410 Newsham Road, Blyth heading westwards for a length of 50 metres.
C410 Newsham Road, Blyth from a point at the front of 94 Newsham Road heading north eastwards for a length of 605 metres.
The Order is to be effective from the 14th July 2025 until the 14th January 2026.
It is expected that the roads will only be closed from the 21 July 2025 until the 4th August 2025 between the hours of 09:00 - 15:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until the 14th January 2026.
An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being via the C410, B1523, A193, U9702, U9711 and vice-versa. Should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

The closure has been requested by Northumberland County Council for resurfacing works.
In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.
