THE PORTSMOUTH CITY COUNCIL (VARIOUS ROADS) (ELECTRIC VEHICLE RECHARGING PARKING PLACES) (NO. 1) ORDER 2025
1. Notice is hereby given that the Portsmouth City Council made the above Order on 9 July 2025. The effect of the Order will be:
At the following locations; to introduce one 6 metre length on-street "Electric Vehicle Charging Bays" (parking only for electric vehicles being re-charged). The EV bay will replace any existing control where appropriate;

Alternatively, they can be viewed at the Civic Offices, Guildhall Square, PO1 2AL, Monday to Friday between 9am - 4pm. Printed copies can be obtained by calling 023 9260 6480.
3. Any person wishing to question the validity of the Order or any of its provisions, on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the relevant enabling Act, or that a requirement of any such enabling Act or of any relevant regulations made thereunder has not been complied with, may, within 6 weeks from the date of the Order, make application for this purpose to the High Court.
4. This Order comes into operation on 25 August 2025.
