Final Notice of Temporary Traffic Regulation Order

Notice is hereby given that North Somerset District Council in pursuance of the provisions of section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, intend to make an order the effect of which is:

B3133 Brinsea Road and Stock Lane, North Somerset

Temporary Prohibition of Use by Vehicles and Cyclists

Date coming into force: 9 July 2025

Ref: T25-18

Will be to close, temporarily, to vehicles and cyclists the lengths of roads specified in the Schedule to this Notice.

This order was required because of surface dressing and will become operative on 09 July 2025, anticipated to be of 1 day. The working hours will be 9.30am to 3.30pm. The road will be closed for the reinstallation of road markings which will become operative on 23 July 2025 anticipated to be of 1 day in duration between 9.30am to 3.30pm. The maximum period for the closures is eighteen months, however, the closures may not be implemented for the whole of the period but only as necessitated by the works.

Schedule - B3133 Brinsea Road from the junction of Silver Street to the junction with Stock Lane. Stock Lane for full extents. Alternative routes - B3133 Brinsea Road – A38 Bristol Road, A368 Dinghurst Road, A368 Greenhill Road, A368 Station Road, A368 Towerhead Road, A368 East Street, West Street, A371 Knightcott Road, A371 Locking Moor Road, A370 Somerset Avenue, A370 Bristol Road, A370 Weston Road, A370 Station Road, High Street, B3133 Brinsea Road (part unaffected).

Sand Road, Weston-super-Mare, North Somerset

Temporary Prohibition of Use by Vehicles and Cyclists

This order was required because of surface dressing works and will become operative on 15 July 2025, anticipated to be of 1 day. The working hours will be 8am to 5pm. The maximum period for the closures is eighteen months, however, the closures may not be implemented for the whole of the period but only as necessitated by the works.

Schedule - Sand Road from the property boundary number 50 Sand Road to the junction of Lower Norton Lane. Alternative routes - Sand Road - Lower Norton Lane, Beach Road, Sand Road (part unaffected) and vice-versa.

This order was required because of surface dressing works and will become operative on 11 July 2025, anticipated to be of 1 day. The working hours will be 8am to 5pm. The maximum period for the closures is eighteen months, however, the closures may not be implemented for the whole of the period but only as necessitated by the works.

Schedule - Puxton Road from the junction with Maysgreen Lane to the junction with Riverside. Alternative routes - Puxton Road - West Rolestone Road, A370 Bristol Road, Maysgreen Lane and vice-versa.

Uphill Road South, Weston-super-Mare, North Somerset

Temporary Prohibition of Use by Vehicles and Cyclists

Date coming into force: 15 July 2025

Will be to close, temporarily, to vehicles and cyclists the lengths of roads specified in the Schedule to this Notice.

This order was required because of surface dressing works and will become operative on 15 July 2025, anticipated to be of 1 day. The working hours will be 8am to 5pm. The road will be closed for Carriageway Sealing (Lockchip) works which will become operative on 18 July 2025 anticipated to be of 1 day in duration between 8am and 5pm. The road will be closed for the reinstallation of road markings which will become operative on 27 July 2025 anticipated to be of 1 day in duration between 8am and 5pm. The maximum period for the closures is eighteen months, however, the closures may not be implemented for the whole of the period but only as necessitated by the works.

Schedule - Uphill Road South for full extents. Alternative routes - Uphill Road South - Windwhistle Road, A370 Bridgwater Road and vice-versa.

Lower Strode Road, Regil, North Somerset

This order was required because of surface dressing works and will become operative on 10 July 2025, anticipated to be of 1 day. The working hours will be 8am to 5pm. The maximum period for the closures is eighteen months, however, the closures may not be implemented for the whole of the period but only as necessitated by the works.

Schedule - Lower Strode for full extents. Alternative routes - Lower Strode - Gravel Hill, Upper Strode and vice-versa.

Queensway, Weston-super-Mare North Somerset

Schedule - Queensway from the junction of Anson Road to the junction of Ebdon Road (roundabout). Alternative routes – Queensway - Ebdon Road, Hollow Lane, Lower Kewstoke Road, Kewstoke Road, Anson Road and vice-versa.
