TEMPORARY CLOSING OF FOOTPATH HERTFORD 33

NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council have made an Order under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit pedestrians from using that length of Footpath Hertford 33, heading east toward junction with Hertfod 99, for an approximate distance of 100m.

Alternative route: via path to the south

The purpose of the Order is to enable utilites works to take place.

The section of Footpath will be closed on or after 17 July 2025 for up to 8 days, when signs are in place.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF ANDREWS LANE, GOFFS OAK) ORDER NO.3 2025

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Andrews Lane, Goffs Oak from its junction with Jubilee Close south eastwards for a distance of approximately 80m (“the Road”), except for access.

An alternative route will be via Andrews Lane, Rags Lane, St James Road, Newgatestreet Road, B156 Goffs Lane, Rosedale Way and Andrews Lane.

The Order is needed because water service repair works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 28 July 2025 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF HERTINGFORDBURY ROAD, HERTFORD) ORDER 2025

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Hertingfordbury Road, Hertford from its junction with St Marys Lane westwards for a distance of approximately 89m (“the Road”), except for access.

An alternative route will be via St Marys Lane, Hertingfordbury Road, A414 Cole Green Bypass and Hertingfordbury Road.

The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 30 July 2025 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Walton Road, Ware from its junction with College Close south westwards for a distance of approximately 17m (“the Road”), except for access.

An alternative route will be via Walton Road, A119 (London Road/Hertford Road), Scotts Road, Warner Road and Walton Road.

The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 29 July 2025 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Bowling Road, Ware from its junction with Kibes Lane north eastwards for a distance of approximately 25m (“the Road”), except for access.

An alternative route will be via Bowling Road, B1004 Star Street, A1170 High Street, New Road, King Edwards Road and Bowling Lane.

The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Mandeville Road, Hertford from its junction with Mandeville Close south eastwards for a distance of approximately 249m (“the Road”), except for access.

An alternative route will be via Mandeville Road.

The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 31 July 2025 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT MEASURES ON VARIOUS ROADS IN CHESHUNT) ORDER 2025

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect on the following lengths of roads (“the Roads”) will be:-

1. To prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of Roads:-

a) that length of Church Lane, Cheshunt from its junction with the northbound carriageway of A10 Great Cambridge Road north westwards for a distance of approximately 40m.

An alternative route will be via Church Lane, B176 (High Street/Turners Hill), B198 College Road, College Road, B156 Churchgate Road and Church Lane.

b) that length of Church Lane, Cheshunt from its junction with the southbound carriageway of A10 Great Cambridge Road south eastwards for a distance of approximately 40m.

An alternative route will be via Church Lane, B156 Churchgate Road, College Road, B198 College Road, B176 (Turners Hill/High Street) and Church Lane.

c) the A10 northbound slip road leading onto Church Lane, Cheshunt from its junction with the northbound carriageway of A10 Great Cambridge Road north westwards to its junction with Church Lane, a distance of approximately 37m.

An alternative route will be via College Road, B156 Churchgate Road and Church Lane

d) the A10 southbound slip road leading onto Church Lane, Cheshunt from its junction with the southbound carriageway of A10 Great Cambridge Road south eastwards to its junction with Church Lane, a distance of approximately 37m.

An alternative route will be via Church Lane, B176 (High Street/Turners Hill), B198 College Road, College Road, B156 Churchgate Road and Church Lane.

2. To prohibit all vehicular traffic from making a right turn manoeuvre from the southbound carriageway of A10 Great Cambridge Road into Church Lane, Cheshunt whilst works are in progress.

An alternative route will be via A10 Great Cambridge Road, College Road, B156 Churchgate Road and Church Lane.

3. To prohibit all vehicular traffic from making a left turn manoeuvre from the southbound carriageway of A10 Great Cambridge Road into Church Lane, Cheshunt whilst works are in progress.

An alternative route will be via A10 Great Cambridge Road, B198 College Road, B176 (Turners Hill/High Street) and Church Lane.

The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads.

If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 28 July 2025 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Roads.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING AND TEMPORARY WAITING RESTRICTIONS IN PAPER MILL LANE, STANDON AND THE MEAD, CHESHUNT) ORDER 2025

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of roads (“the Roads”), except for access and to prohibit all vehicles from waiting at any time on both sides of these lengths of Roads whilst works are in progress:-

1. that length of Paper Mill Lane, Standon from its junction with High Street south westwards, north westwards, south westwards, north westwards and south westwards to its junction with Barwick Road, a distance of approximately 547m.

There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.

2. that length of The Mead, Cheshunt from its junction with Shaw Close south eastwards and north eastwards to its junction with Whitefields Road, a distance of approximately 135m.

An alternative route will be via Shaw Close, Church Lane and Whitefields Road.

The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads.

If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 28 July 2025 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Roads.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF COLE GREEN, HERTFORD) ORDER 2025

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Cole Green, Hertford from its easternmost junction with The Old Coach Road southwards and south eastwards for a distance of approximately 120m (“the Road”), except for access.

An alternative route will be via The Old Coach Road and Cole Green.

The Order is needed because the installation of a new transformer is proposed to be executed near the Road.

If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 28 July 2025 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY 40MPH SPEED RESTRICTIONS ON A414 EASTWICK ROAD, STANSTEAD ABBOTTS) ORDER 2025

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from being driven at a speed exceeding 40mph on that length of A414 Eastwick Road, Stanstead Abbotts from its junction with the A10 Amwell Link Road/A1170 Ware Road roundabout south eastwards and north eastwards for a distance of approximately 2517m (“the Road”), when signs are in place.

The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 28 July 2025 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT MEASURES ON VARIOUS ROADS AND PUBLIC FOOTPATH IN GREAT AMWELL) ORDER 2025

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect on the following lengths of roads (“the Roads”) and public footpath (“the Public Footpath”):-

1. To prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of road:-

a) that length of Cautherly Lane, Great Amwell from its junction with A1170 Pepper Hill north eastwards to its junction with Madegways Lane, a distance of approximately 270m.

An alternative route will be via A1170 Pepper Hill and Madegways Lane.

b) that length of Gypsy Lane, Great Amwell from a point 85m north east of its junction with B1502 Stanstead Road north eastwards for a distance of approximately 210m.

An alternative route will be via Gypsy Lane, B1502 Stanstead Road, A1170 Pepper Hill and Gypsy Lane.

c) that length of Cautherly Lane, Great Amwell from its junction with Madgeways Lane north eastwards for a distance of approximately 250m.

An alternative route will be via Madgeways Lane, A1170 Amwell Lane, Lower Road and Cautherly Lane.

2. To prohibit all pedestrians from using the Great Amwell Public Footpath No.018, from its junction with Cautherly Lane south eastwards for a distance of approximately 420m.

There is no alternative route available for pedestrians when the works are being carried out. However pedestrian access to properties along this public footpath will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.

The Order is needed because gas mains replacement works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads and Public Footpath.

If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 28 July 2025 for a period of up to 6 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Roads.

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Woodland Road, Hertford Heath from a point in line with the eastern boundary of No.9 Woodland Road north westwards for a distance of approximately 35m (“the Road”).

An alternative route will be via Woodland Road, Church Hill, B1197 London Road and Woodland Road.

The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of B1004 Ware Road, Wareside from its junction with C41 (unnamed road) north eastwards, northwards and north eastwards for a distance of approximately 301m (“the Road”).

An alternative route will be via B1004 (Ware Road/Widbury Hill/Star Street), A1170 (Bridge Foot/Viaduct Road/London Road/Amwell Hill/Pepper Hill), B181 (Station Road/High Street/Roydon Road), B180 (Hunsdon Road/Stanstead Road/High Street/Widford Road/Hunsdon Road) and B1004 Ware Road.

The Order is needed because utility and tree cutting works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

1. that length of A121 Monarchs Way, Waltham Cross from its junction with the A121 Winston Churchill Road/B176 High Street roundabout south eastwards to its junction with the A1010 Monarchs Way/A121 Eleanor Cross Road roundabout, a distance of approximately 465m.

An alternative route will be via A121 Winston Churchill Way, A10 (unnamed road/Great Cambridge Road), A1055 Bullsmoor Lane and A1010 (Hertford Road/High Street).

2. the A1010 Monarchs Way/A121 Eleanor Cross Road roundabout, Waltham Cross from its junction with A121 Monarchs Way clockwise for its entire length.

An alternative route will be via A121 (Monarchs Way/Winston Churchill Way), A10 (unnamed road/Great Cambridge Road), A1055 Bullsmoor Lane and A1010 (Hertford Road/High Street) or via A121 (Eleanor Cross Road/Station Road/Meridian Way/Sewardstone Way), A110 (Lea Valley Road/Nags Head Road/Southbury Road), A10 Great Cambridge Road, A1055 Bullsmoor Lane and A1010 (Hertford Road/High Street).

An alternative route will be via A121 (Monarchs Way/Winston Churchill Way), A10 (unnamed road/Great Cambridge Road), A1055 Bullsmoor Lane and A1010 (Hertford Road/High Street) or via A121 (Eleanor Cross Road/Station Road/Meridian Way/Sewardstone Way), A110 (Lea Valley Road/Nags Head Road/Southbury Road), A10 Great Cambridge Road, A1055 Bullsmoor Lane and A1010 (Hertford Road/High Street).

ORDER 2025

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Bramfield Road, Datchworth/Bulls Green from its junction with Watton Road south eastwards, south westwards and south eastwards to its junction with Burnham Green Road, a distance of approximately 1015m (“the Road”).

An alternative route will be via Watton Road, Datchworth Green, Mardleybury Road, B197 (London Road/Mardley Hill/Great North Road), A1000 (Welwyn Bypass Road/Hertford Road), Hertford Road, Harmer Green Lane, New Road, Harmer Green Lane and Burnham Green Road.

ADDITIONALLY all vehicles are prohibited from waiting at any time on both sides of this length of Road whilst works are in progress.

The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads.

An alternative route will be via Priory Street, Harriss Lane, Priory Road, B1001 Watton Road, A1170 (Baldock Street/High Street), the A1170 Bridge Foot roundabout, A1170 (High Street/Baldock Street) and Priory Street.

The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF VARIOUS FOOTPATHS IN HERTFORD) ORDER 2025

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all pedestrians from using the following lengths of footpath (“the Footpaths”):-

1. the footpath situated between Nos.39 and 47 Birdie Way, Hertford from its junction with Birdie Way north westwards for a distance of approximately 131m.

There is no alternative route available for pedestrians when the works are being carried out. However pedestrian access to properties along this footpath will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.

2. the footpath situated on the north side of Nos.57-61 Birdie Way, Hertford from its junction with Birdie Way south westwards for a distance of approximately 33m.

There is no alternative route available for pedestrians when the works are being carried out. However pedestrian access to properties along this footpath will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.

3. the footpath situated between Nos.64-66 Birdie Way, Hertford from a point in line with the eastern boundary of No.66 Birdie Way south westwards and north westwards to its junction with Eagle Court, a distance of approximately 138m.

An alternative route will be via the footpath situated on the north east side of Nos.19-1 Birdie Way, the footpath situated on the north west side of Nos.89-83 Birdie Way, the footway situated on the north east side of Links Avenue, the footway situated on the south east side of Hamels Drive and the footway situated on the north east side of Eagle Court.

4. the footpath situated on the west side of Nos.101-107 Birdie Way, Hertford from a point in line with the northern boundary of No.107 Birdie Way south eastwards, south westwards and north westwards for a distance of approximately 40m.

There is no alternative route available for pedestrians when the works are being carried out. However pedestrian access to properties along this footpath will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.

5. the footpath situated between No.19 Links Avenue and No.70 Birdie Way, Hertford from a point in line with the eastern boundary of No.70 Birdie Way south westwards, north westwards, south westwards, north westwards, south westwards, north westwards and south westwards for a distance of approximately 100m.

There is no alternative route available for pedestrians when the works are being carried out. However pedestrian access to properties along this footpath will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.

6. the footpath situated between No.38 and No.40 Links Avenue, Hertford from a point in line with the north western boundary of No.38 Links Avenue south eastwards for a distance of approximately 27m.
