Notice is given that the Council of the City of Peterborough has made an Order pursuant to section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984:
The City of Peterborough Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic Order 2025 – Main Street, Southorpe Ref: 26-072
The effect of which is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along the road known as Main Street, Southorpe, as lies approximately 830m south of Walcot Road. The Council is satisfied that traffic should be prohibited due to
proposed works being executed on the above road. The alternative route for vehicles affected by this order is:
Walcot Road, Main Street, Marholm Road, Stamford Road, King Street, Langley Bush Road and vice versa. The proposed order will come into force on the 16/07/2025 and will continue until the comms pipe repair works have been completed or until the 15/07/2026, whichever is the earlier. Closure dates will be confirmed locally on site. It is anticipated that the works will take place between the 16/07/2025 and the 18/07/2025. The City of Peterborough Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic Order 2025 – Lincoln Road – see schedule Ref: 26-076
The effect of which is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along the roads detailed in the schedule below

The Council is satisfied that traffic should be prohibited due to proposed works being executed on the above roads. The alternative routes for vehicles affected by this order are detailed in the schedule. The proposed order will come into force on the 14/07/2025 and will continue until the removal of traffic island and associated works have been completed or until the 13/07/2026, whichever is the earlier. Closure dates will be confirmed locally on

The City of Peterborough Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic Order 2025 – Springfield Road, Millfield, Peterborough Ref: 26-070
The effect of which is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along the road known as Springfield Road, Millfield, as lies between Gladstone Street and Silverwood Road. The Council is satisfied that traffic should be prohibited
due to proposed works being executed on the above road. The alternative route for vehicles affected by this order is via: Gladstone Street, Cambridge Avenue, Silverwood Road and vice versa. The proposed order will come into
force on the 14/07/2025 and will continue until the electrical link box replacement works have been completed or until the 13/07/2026, whichever is the earlier. Closure dates will be confirmed locally on site. It is anticipated

The City of Peterborough Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic Order 2025 – Crowland Road, Thorney Ref: 26-079
The effect of which is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along the road known as Crowland Road, Thorney, as lies approximately 70m from junction with English Drove. The Council is satisfied that traffic should be prohibited
due to proposed works being executed on the above road. The alternative route for vehicles affected by this order is: Crowland Road, Nene Terrace Road, A16, Thorney Road, Crowland Road, Bukehorn Road and vice versa.
The proposed order will come into force on the 21/07/2025 and will continue until the excavation to lay new pipeline works have been completed or until the 20/07/2026, whichever is the earlier. Closure dates will be confirmed locally on site. It is anticipated that the works will take place between the 21/07/2025 and the 01/08/2025. The City of Peterborough Fletton Parkway Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984 as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991 (Temporary Restriction of Through Traffic) Notice 2025 Ref: 26-077
The effect of which is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along the road known as Fletton Parkway, junction 3 westbound off slip for it’s entire length. Access will be maintained to properties affected by this Notice. The Council is satisfied that traffic should be prohibited due to proposed works being executed on the above road. The alternative route for vehicles affected by this order is: Fletton Parkway westbound, exit Fletton Parkway junction 2, Fletton Parkway roundabout 2, rejoin Fletton Parkway eastbound, exit Fletton Parkway junction 3.
This notice is made in the interest of cut and patch works and will remain effective for no more than 5 days from 14/07/2025. The Notice shall not apply to any persons lawfully engaged in connection with any works for which
it is made, any member of the Police Force, Fire and Rescue Service, Ambulance Service, a vehicle being used by Special Forces during the execution of their duties or any person acting with permission or upon the direction of a police Officer in uniform. The effect of which is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along the road known as Frank Perkins Parkway, junction 5 westbound on slip for it’s entire length. Access will be maintained to properties affected by this Notice. The Council is satisfied that traffic should be prohibited due to proposed works being executed on the above road. The alternative route for vehicles affected by this order is: Frank Perkins Parkway eastbound, Frank Perkins Parkway roundabout 8, rejoin Frank Perkins Parkway westbound This notice is made in the interest of cut and patch works and will remain effective for no more than 5 days from 14/07/2025.
