What is happening?

THE CITY OF EDINBURGH COUNCIL

(LEAMINGTON TERRACE AREA) (TEMPORARY ROAD RESTRICTION AND TRAFFIC REGULATION) ORDER 2025 – TEMP/25 / 60

The Council has made an order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be that for a temporary period to facilitate a safe working area for renewal of carriageway and gullies, no person shall:

(a) drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle on any part of:

(i) Leamington Ter, (ii) Westhall Gdns, (iii) Admiral Ter, (iv) Upper Gilmore Pl &

(b) except with the permission of a Parking Attendant, cause or permit any vehicle to wait or load onto or unload from any vehicle at any time on both sides of:

(i) Leamington Ter; (ii) Westhall Gdns from the south-west kerbline of Leamington Ter south-westwards for 50m; & (iii) Upper Gilmore Pl from Leamington Ter to Gilmore Pl.

The prohibition of entry on Westhall Gdns will be suspended for the duration of this order. Existing parking restrictions may be suspended on the affected sections of road described in (b). The alternative route for vehicular traffic with respect to the closures is: Bruntsfield Pl, Viewforth & Gilmore Pl. The Order shall have effect from 14/07/25 to 10/10/25.
