ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – (AS AMENDED)
PUBLIC FOOTPATH NO. 21 (PART) CHESLYN HAY PARISH AND  
PUBLIC FOOTPATH NO. 1 BRIDGTOWN PARISH
(TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2025

Notice is hereby given that the Staffordshire County Council intend, on 3/7/25 made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any pedestrians from proceeding along the following lengths of Public Rights of Way:

Public Footpath No. 1 Bridgtown Parish from its junction with Watling Street for approximately 147 metres in a south south westerly direction then west south westerly direction to its junction with Public Footpath No. 21 Cheslyn Hay Parish.

Public Footpath No. 21 Cheslyn Hay Parish from its junction with Public Footpath No. 1 Bridgtown Parish for approximately 233 metres in a generally south south easterly direction then south westerly direction to its junction with Bridge Avenue.

The closure is required under the provision of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984 Section 14 (1) (b) due to works taking place on the footpath. These are expected to last for twelve weeks.

A plan will be displayed on site to show length of paths to be closed.

This Order came into operation on 7/7/25 and will remain in force for a period of six months or until the risk of danger to the public is over, whichever is the earlier. If necessary, after six months, the Order may be extended for a further period with the approval of the Secretary of State.

(A51 LEA HALL WAY, RUGELEY) (40 MPH SPEED LIMIT) ORDER 2025
Staffordshire County Council on 8/7/25 made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 that imposed a 40 mph speed limit on A51 Lea Hall Way, Rugeley. Documents may be examined during office hours at Staffordshire Place 1, Tipping Street, Stafford, ST16 2DH and during opening hours at Rugeley Library or email: trafficandnetwork@ staffordshire.gov.uk quoting reference S0240G. Persons questioning the validity or provisions of the Order on the grounds that such powers are not conferred by the Act, or that any requirement or instrument made under the Act has not been complied with, may within 6 weeks from the date the Order was made apply to the High Court. The Order will commence on 14/7/25.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 –
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC

Notice is hereby given that Staffordshire County Council on 8/7/25 made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along:

B5013 Uttoxeter Rd, Colton. For more information regarding access arrangements, timings and diversion routes please visit https://one.network/?tm=143204017. The Order will come into operation on 16/7/25 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed on the same day. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the pole replacement works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

Sycamore Rd, Burntwood. For more information regarding access arrangements, timings and diversion routes please visit https://one.network/?tm=144045293. The Order will come into operation on 14/7/25 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 21/7/25. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the highway, bellmouth and resurfacing works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

Chorley Rd, Burntwood. For more information regarding access arrangements, timings and diversion routes please visit https://one.network/?tm=143891181. The Order will come into operation on 14/7/25 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed on the same day. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the telecoms works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

Meerash Ln, Hammerwich. For more information regarding access arrangements, timings and diversion routes please visit https://one.network/?tm=143292258. The Order will come into operation on 16/7/25 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed on the same day. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the replacement/renewal of frame and cover works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

Moor Ln, Hamley Heath. For more information regarding access arrangements, timings and diversion routes please visit https://one.network/?tm=143275507. The Order will come into operation on 16/7/25 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 18/7/25. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the poling and fibre installation and tree cutting works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

Notice is hereby given that Staffordshire County Council intend not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along:

Hood Ln, Armitage. For more information regarding access arrangements, timings and diversion routes please visit https://one.network/?tm=142955912. The Order will come into operation on 29/7/25 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 29/7/25. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the pole testing works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

A5127 Birmingham Rd, St John St and Upper St John St, Lichfield. For more information regarding access arrangements, timings and diversion routes please visit https://one.network/?tm=143201031. The Order will come into operation on 28/7/25 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 1/8/25. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the structural maintenance/highway works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
